NCU, yes. My understanding is that the "H" actually meant Hockey Club of Canada to begin with, but through some misexplanation to someone along the lines it was described as meaning the Habitants of Canada and turned into Habs. I may be wrong, but that is the way it was explained to me a few years ago. Someone else may offer further info.
