Sorry, no time for write-up. Hit Washington hard on the 2H as a play laying the -4. Spurrier was quoted as saying "don't leave yet" to the fans as he left to locker room at halftime. Washington's second and third strig mops up with big numbers and should make this interesting in 2H. Steelers loved what they saw in 1H from starters and are expected to be much more conservative in 2H.

First halftime play of the year.

Washington also got Sage Rosenfels out of the way (a dreadful QB) and should get back to better numbers with Shane Mathews playing most of 2H. Only trouble spot is if they put the hold-out kid in the game late (the top draft pick, Ramsey, who pulled a Heath Shuler and held out of camp while his teammates were learning the new offense). Please Spurrier, don't put the punk in. Keep his ass on the sideline with a clipboard.

scoring like a pin-ball machine in the second half. Spurrier is going to have a long season.... he will need boxes of bill caps to throw on the ground each series..

sweeet!!!!

sweeet!!!!

Really a excellent call on the halftime play! CONGTATS!!!! It has made me bring up a question that i have been wanting to e-mail you on your thoughts about halftime plays.Sometime i feel that these are some on the best plays available, especially after watching a half of football you have a much better feel for the game and what to expect in the second half.

Please let us have a little better insight on how you feel about halftime plays and any other pointers would be appreciated!

Thanks everybody.

I agree you HAVE to watch the game in the 1H so you can make a good decision for haltime betting. Exception is playing the angles (see daily report on halftime wagers). I must say that I'm not sure how to post the halftime bets this season to the Messge Forum.

I'm going to spend the entire football season in Las Vegas and will probably be at the sportsbooks. I do have a webbroaser on my cell, but I'm not usre you you can post from it. Anyone have any ieas?

Note: I'll move this message to general.

Thanks.
