Well, went 1-1 and came out with a small profit with some more change on SD than the total.

NYG +8. While I like GB a lot, I think the Giants are going to be in this one in the end. I feel that the Giants D-Line will end up pressuring Favre far more than he's been pressured thus far this year. I think he will make some mistakes. Yeah, Favre is money in the cold, but what happened in that bitter, cold, windy game last month in Soldier Field. Sure, their punter killed them, but Brett, nor the team, played will either. The same will happen today. More than anything, I sense a fairy tale happening in this one. I know, its not the best handicapping method, but I see the Giants leading late, the ball in Brett's hands and the football world watches with baited breaths. Those with the Giants plus the points, however, will be quielty high fiving each while watching the drama play out.

Nice job on SD +. Hate to see you on NYG as I'm on GB, but good luck nonetheless. I'd be a lot more excited about a GB/NE SB than a NY/NE SB.

Posted without posting my play on the total.

Under 42, -120.

I'll take my chances that in this bitter cold, we wont see more than six touchdowns scored. Heck, we might not see six scoring drives. Think this game is played in the middle of the field all night. Think field goal kicking will be dicey. Feel WRs on both teams will struggle to catch the ball. Both teams will pound, pound, pound the ball. Honestly, I dont think either Eli or Brett or going to put up good QB numbers today. Game has 14-10 written all over it!

Good luck!!!

Thought long and hard on this one.....just feel like the game will be close throughout. In the end, I cant shake how bad Green Bay looked in Chicago when the weather was comparable to today. I know they came back and ripped Detroit at home the following week, but 1.) that was the Lions, and 2.) that game was actually a "pleasant" wintery afternoon.

Plus,l I like the way the Giants eventually wore out Dallas with their D-Line last week. Think they might have enough series on D where they pound Favre.

Of course, because of the cold, we could see a record amount of Manning faces this afternoon as the Giants get shutout!! :142smilie

If I lose, I'll be happy to see you and GB get the W.

Good luck! :toast:

Thanks TP. Yeah, I would actually feel better if this game was played in ideal conditions. Anything can happen on the frozen tundra! :scared
