here is the weekly writeup on double digit home dogs by peter fiutak......for the last 7 weeks dd home dogs are 48-18(72.7%)...very impressive.

In the weekly tracking of my theory that, after the early part of the year, the double-digit home underdog almost always covers (also called the DDHD by another column that adopted this theory as its own without giving any love to where it came from). Last week, the home dogs went an 4-3 ATS with Baylor covering against Oklahoma, Army covering against UAB, East Carolina covering against Memphis and Vanderbilt playing well late against Tennessee. Louisville and Northern Illinois, two bugs in the theory all year, won easily, while Boston College coasted against Temple. That brings the total up to 48-18 ATS over the last seven weeks. So as a continued public service, here are this weeks offerings ...
- Arizona State -14 at Arizona
- NC State -20.5 at East Carolina
- Boise State -26 at Nevada
- Fresno State -27 at San Jose State

good luck.

ncs/ecu not in greenville but at neutral site in charlotte. fans should be equally divided, but i wouldn't be surprised to see pirates hang around. imo game too volatile so i won't play a side but will consider the under. g/l my friend.

Great info AR, as always!
i was looking at the ECU game because they have been playing well of late. Going with ASU based on talent vs Rivalry alone. Seriously considering the Navada game....the Cowboys have struggled with a few teams on the road this year. Good luck to you this weekend!

Cheers

honolulu, Hi, USA
Be careful on the Boise game. Rivalry with NV goes back a long ways - both teams despise each other. And Ault is back coaching again and I'm sure he was part of the "wars". Nv playing tough at home and Boise having a hard time covering on the road. Points might be the play. Tread lightly.

I think you misunderstood. AR is saying play the Double-digit home dog. So in that case Nevada would be the play. Good luck

Ooops, sorry about that. I didn't read carefully. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I'm leaning towards the pts and Nevada.

here are a few angles that i came upon......

i wouldn't make a play solely on an angle...but i think that they are interesting...........

play on any college favorite up to 17 points playing in a final home game with revenge, coming off a su & ats win on the road in the previous game....

since 1980....56-32-3...64%.....

play on boston college & iowa state

play against a college conference road team who played each of its previous 4 games at home.....

since 1980.....14-7-2 ats.....66.7%.....

play against lsu

play against any college football defending national champion in their final game of the season vs. an opponent off a win of more than 1 point......

since 1990.....11-1 ats....91.6%.....

play against lsu

the arizona wildcats are 0-31-1 ats at home in games in which they allow more than 24 points.

good luck.

Like that under play. I live about 20 minutes from campus and the weather has been awful all day, tons of rain and it's not supposed to let up. Field conditions should be poor, not to mention that you could probably hold archery practice in the stands tommorrow.
