My condolences. Just remember that sad things happen sometimes and that if you stay strong you can overcome anything.
I lost my father about 8 years ago. Be strong, always remember he is in a much better place in which you will be united again forever, and be there for your mother, as she is the one who now must move on by herself. Very tuff times like this is when a family must get closer with each other and pull on forward as one. I know from experience. Peace and God bless.
