Yes, it was a good week. Felt fantastic and we certainly have the Cappers to do it again. Our three Medal winners were 18-3 cumulatively! Let’s see who they were.
Going a perfect 7-0, LAUDERDALE LEGEND takes the GOLD MEDAL. Right on his tail at 6-1, TERRYRAY wins the SILVER MEDAL. And, right behind him at 5-2, OLD MAN RIVER earns the BRONZE MEDAL. Way to go gents. CONGRATULATIONS!
At .500: Elmer Fudd (2-2), The Culprit (1-1) and Yanno (1-1).
Now the rest: DoubleTwo (3-4), Coach Burns (2-3) and Wild Bill (2-4).
Let’s keep that MOMENTUM going!

The 11-5 Villanova Wildcats are in zero degrees Milwaukee to battle the 11-5 Marquette Golden Eagles. Gametime is 2:30 eastern on FOX. Marquette is -6.5/144.5.
Marquette comes in losing its last two games: at Seton Hall and to Butler at home. In the latter game, no one could hit a shot from 3. They are led by three players who average about 14 ppg: Tyler Kolek, Kam Jones and Oso Ighadaro. To cap this one: will they bounce back and shoot their average or better OR will the shooting funk stay in their heads? The betting public thinks they will bounce back.
On the Villanova side, the Cats demolished DePaul yet again (94-69) and shot over 50%. They average about 41%. Will they regress against a tough, defensive club? The Cats finally got Justin Moore back BUT Jordan Longino, their best defensive player, sprained his ankle.
Nova DOES play up to their competition but if Marquette starts hitting 3’s it will be tough to keep up. For sure, Villanova will focus on defense and rebounding. I hope they learned something from the second half of the DePaul game where they scored over 80% of their points in the paint. That would be a good strategy vs. Marquette.
Going to back the Cats in a teaser with the Under. Things come in threes. Marquette has had two bad games in a row. Nova has lost four straight to Marquette. It ends today (I hope).
