Good Morning, BoyZ .. Friday's NHL POD OV 6' minn edm was another POD WINNAH, EDM 5-2.

Nova Report
The 4-5 Villanova Wildcats take on the 5-5 BC Eagles at 5:00 pm eastern in Newark, NJ. Cats are -9.5/129.5.
Boston College plays 8 guys none of who average over 12 ppg. Their leading scorer is guard Jaeden Zackery at 11.3 ppg. Their tallest player is Bickerstaff at 6’9”. They shoot 27% from 3 which is pretty poor but they do have a few guys (Madsen, Kelly and Penha Jr) who should be able to do better than that. They turn it over more than Nova and rebound about the same.
As for the Wildcats, Whitmore is off of a playing minute restriction which will help. They still need to focus on rebounding and defense. Eventually, their shots will go in. It would help to work the ball around more. They have better players than BC. Will they function though as a better team?
What Will Happen
It would make sense for BC to take the air out of the ball and slow the game down. They’ll definitely test out the 3 ball as Nova is not good at defending it. They’ll need someone or someone’s to get hot shooting to stay in this. And, needless to say, reducing turnovers and making free throws are a must.
For Villanova, they desperately need to get off to a fast start. Starting Whitmore and Armstrong would make sense. Pressuring the BC guards would also make sense. They should have run rampant over Penn last out. BC is even less talented. Nova Nation has been waiting for a breakout game vs. a less talented club. This has a good chance of being that game despite the Eagle’s likely playing stall ball. Look for the Cats to take it to BC this afternoon.
