Good Morning, BoyZ .. Friday's NHL POD OV 6' nyr edm was another EASY $$$ POD WINNAH, NYR 5-4 in a Shootout!
+ 4.4* units Friday on posted nhl plays & now am + 10.6* units for the week on posted nhl plays.
Nice finish by the Rangers to win their seventh game in a row. Can they win again on Saturday on a B2B in Calgary?
Ottawa loss killed my 4-teamer & 3-teamer. : ( GOOD LUCK SATURDAY, BOYZ !!!
NYR were on a B2B on Feb 10th &11th & scored 6 goals & 6 goals, & their L6 meetings with Calg produced 9-7-9-8-10-9 goals,
so I'm going to stick with yesterday's POD & try the OV 6' again.

The 13-13 Villanova Wildcats head up I-95 for a stop at the Amica Mutual Pavilion to battle the 19-7 Providence Friars. Providence is -3.5/137.5. Tip off is 4:30 pm eastern.
Providence is 14-0 in this Arena and come off of a huge double overtime win vs. Creighton. Nova has won 3 straight but vs. the lower tier of the Big East. These two clubs played on 01/29 with Providence winning 70-65. In that game, Jared Bynum of the Friars took over the game with 3 minutes to go as he hit jumper after jumper and made all of his free throws. He scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half.
Providence prides themselves on rebounding with Hopkins (16.8 ppg/9.2 boards) and Croswell (12.8 ppg/7.2 boards) leading the way. They score most of their points in the paint. Locke is their best 3 point shooter. Carter is a defensive gem but also killed Nova offensively on 01/29.
For the Wildcats, rebounding and protecting the ball is the key. They can stick with the Friars offensively. They just can’t make needless mistakes. Dixon needs to come up big along with Moore and Slater in this one.
What Will Happen
Both clubs (save one game for the Friars) have been solid defensively so points will be at a premium. Providence will pound the paint and go at Dixon. Carter will likely take on Nova’s Moore to try to shut him down. They will challenge Nova’s freshman to try to create turnovers. Hopkins will look for mid range jumpers. Croswell will try to score from close in. For the Wildcats, they’ll likely start out chucking 3’s hoping someone gets hot to take the crowd out of the game. After that, they’ll feed Dixon to get close in buckets.
Providence is coming off of a hard fought emotional win. Nova needs to win 4 of its next 5 to keep its slim NCAA hopes alive. This is a must game for the Wildcats. I can see their upperclassman taking over and pulling this one out.
