Good Morning, BoyZ .. Friday's NHL POD OV 6' minn edm was another POD LOSSAH, MINN WILD 4-2.
When it rains, it pours! ( 1 - 5 ) ( -9.4* ) units Friday on posted nhl plays & now am buried ( - 52.9* )

The 15-11 Villanova Wildcats head east to Gampel Pavillion to take on #1 24-3 UCONN on their campus. UCONN is -13.5/131.5. Gametime is 8:00 pm eastern on Fox.
After totally embarrassing #7 Marquette last Saturday, the UCONN Huskies traveled to Omaha where Creighton beat them by 18. Coach Hurley vowed things will be different in front of their home crowd. Sharpshooter Cam Spencer said the team can’t wait to get back out on the court and play UCONN basketball because they didn’t up in Omaha.
The Villanova Wildcats enter the game desperately needing a win over a Marquis program to get them on the right side of the NCAA bubble. They’ve won four of five and held opponents to under an average of 56 points but UCONN plays on a different level. These two teams played a month ago in Villanova with the Huskies winning by 1 66-65. Everyone points to Armstrong of Villanova hitting a 3 at the buzzer thus saying it really was a 4 point game, Fact is with one minute to go the game was tied. Justin Moore was called for two offensive fouls in that period which gave UCONN the win.
UCONN will be motivated and likely to improve off of their 18% shooting from deep vs Creighton. Naysayers point out that the last 5 Villanova opponents have shot 22% from 3 and Villanova has been lucky. UCONN has Clingan who is 6” taller than any Nova player. He’ll get his points tonight. So will their best player, Newton. Spencer and Karaban need to be held in check if Nova is to be competitive.
On the Wildcat side, Moore appears to be playing better and Hausen has been money from 3. Dixon struggled vs UCONN last time and will make adjustments. As usual, it’s defense and rebounding. Needless to say hitting double digit 3’s would help. I’ve been to a few Nova games at UCONN. The place will be LOUD. The fans and team both hate the Cats. However, I just can’t see Nova getting blown out.
