Seton Hall (15-8) are on the Villanova campus to take on the Wildcats (12-11) at noon eastern. Nova is -4.5/130.5.

Last out the Wildcats amazingly could not get off a potentially tieing shot with 18 seconds left vs Xavier and lost by 3. They have now lost 6 of 7. The Hall, after losing three in a row to the Big East’s elite, beat up on doormats Georgetown and DePaul.
The Pirates are led by stud Kadary Richmond (16.1 ppg) and Dre Davis (14.3 ppg). Dawes tosses in 14 ppg and Bediako is a player at 8.7 ppg. Seton Hall predominantly shoots inside the arc as they are not proficient from beyond the 3 point line. They rebound well and play above average defense.

Coach Neptune of Villanova is definitely on the hot seat. He needs to step up his game and play the guys who deserve minutes based on their play now as opposed to in the past. We’ll see if he sits Moore who has been shooting 25%. The Cats will need to play another slow, defensive game to pull this one out. (I actually think the offense would play better if they went up tempo..but that won’t happen).
