POD: Baltimore +1.5 (-145) ... action
Baltimore covers the runline an amazing 32-9 as dog at home.....Voth has markedly better WHIP last 3 starts than Cease....and Cease’s Sunday start rained out, Kopech used Monday, so Cease is starting 2 days beyond normal rest routine, and these starting pitchers don’t like that. Messes up usual routine....we look and sure enough we see his ERA and WHIP and opposing bats average, etc, rises a bit each day beyond his normal 5 day rest...CWS had double travel day, that a decided disadvantage vs rested home team off a day off...CWS pen used a bunch Monday too...
