a's under 7.5

Dallas Braden is 4-1 with a 1.32 career ERA against the Baltimore Orioles,

Kevin Millwood, only gave up one earned run in his first start and still lost! Hoping for a good old pitchers duel here tonite.

Its a low number which sucks but I think its low for a reason

Todays Play

Tom Gorzelanny has a 1-4, 5.01 ERA against the Astros and you know my boy Oswalt is mad he doesnt have that first W yet. He pitched great against the Phillies (one of the best hitting teams in baseball) striking out 8 in 6.0 innings giving up 2 earned runs and still got the loss (ouch) The wind is blowing out like 20 mph to center but I hope that will end up hurting Gorzelanny more than Roy

Lets get it.

Todays Play : LOS ANGELES ANGELS -173

Didnt think Pineiro would pitch to well leaving the NL but , two quality starts later -- including holding the Yankees to just one run in seven innings at Yankee Stadium -- and I think this sinker baller is going to have an effective year once again, Pineiro is near the top in ground-ball percentage (67.5 percent), and any pitcher who can prevent extra-base hits is going to remain successful. Also Feel confident in fading D train untill he proves us otherwise.

Angels -173

Its 4-20 so how do I not go with a guy named Danks. :mj07:

In five career starts against the Tampa Bay Rays, Danks has a 2.67 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. Perfect guy to cool down this hot team.

Phillies -145

What you afraid to back the doc cause tim hudson is pitching? Phils hit .290 off tim hudson in 210 at bats.... ok...last time he faced the phils he gave up 3 runs which is fine... BUT he also gave up 2 hrs which is not...may not bode well going against Halladay.

GL guys

Oakland under 8

Oakland +163

dallas bradren hasn't lost this year yet and his home era is 2 points lower than his road/away era.....

Angels over 8.5

Justin Verlander struggles against the Los Angeles Angels, with a 4.82 ERA against them over the years, but Joe Saunders, has an even tougher time against the Detroit Tigers. He's got a 5.18 lifetime ERA against detroit city

Braves -138

derek lowe is 6-1 with a 2.56 era vs the phillies...
And I wouldn't be surprised if jamie moyer takes an early exit...he hasn't even pitched more than 86 pitches this whole year.

Mets -158

Johan has a 1.71 era vs the cubs
And tom gorzelanny has a heavy 5.68 era vs the mets
