Round 1 plays (1pt):

Charles Howell to beat Boo Weekley -111 @ Unibet
Weekly has yet to beat Howell in any first round this year and of their four common strokeplay events in 2008, Weekley has ended the tournament ahead of Howell only once, so he is hardly in the better form. With Weekley missing the cut and Howell finishing 6th last year, the value appears to be with Howell in this match

Kenny Perry to beat David Toms -120 @ Five Dimes
Toms had problems with his back midway through the first round of the WGC World Matchplay and, even though he won that day, he lost in the next round and shot 79-77 to miss the cut by a long way last week. With this concern, it hardly matters that Perry has the early tee-time (Toms starts in the afternoon) and a 8-3-2 1st round h2h lead over the past 12 months

John Senden to beat Trevor Immelman -120 @ Five Dimes
Three missed cuts from three strokeplay events and a 2nd round defeat in the WGC World Matchplay is clear evidence that he is still some way from competitiveness after his health problems. No such worries with Senden who finished 2nd last year

J.B. Holmes to beat Fred Couples -143 @ Unibet
Already a winner this year, plus 7th in his last strokeplay event, came extremely close to beating Tiger in the WGC World Matchplay last time out and finished 8th last year; Couples can't compete with those credentials

Been a busy few days and not much time to look.
Did see one I'll give a go. 72 holes @ 5dimes

Sport / Period: PGA Golf / Game
Line:
Bart Bryant (Tourn) 3/6/2008 7:30:01 AM - (EST)
+120
Opponent: Retief Goosen (Tourn)

The Goose looked like he might be on road back after last week taking shot at him anyway and Bryant good form in Fla.

considering Bryant has better scor ave than Rose in events in common this year and Rose is -200 vs Goose most places--believe prefer Bryant and the +120.

Everything is a prelude to The Masters for as long as I've held a club in my hands. I have no hesitation in making plays on Phil Mickelson(10/1) e.w. at Augusta and (20/1) e.w. in the U.S. Open my opening salvos for the season.
Stuart Appleby(80/1) e.w. @ The Masters
Stuart Appleby(100/1) e.w. @ U.S. Open
Stuart Appleby(100/1) e.w. @ The Open Championship

Delays sure mess things up-some brutal scores for lift clean and place.

Been wanting to take some of allenby at WSEX interactives @ 3--thinking he might get in hunt and sell a few shares but wagering been halted since 4am this morning:shrug:
