LSU plays 8 home games and 4 road games. I will give you credit that 3 of those games are against Top 15 teams, but what about Arkansas. Is that not a tough game? What if LSU only beats Arky by 10 pts? I certainly would have to bring your other arguments that since USC beat Arky by 36 that LSU will have to beat them by more. Otherwise how would USC not be better than LSU?
Until LSU does something about it's OOC, as no one can control their in conference schedule, they really should not be commenting at where SC plays. SC like LSU cannot control the schedule in the PAC 10, but they sure do try to play the best OOC. I don't see any 1AA on their schedule just 3 BCS teams. Can LSU say the same or are the rigors and pounding of the SEC every week too much to play OOC?
Dude, I live in the South, and I think the SEC is the best conference, but not the messiah.
The game of college football is not regional but national. At some point if you weren't looking through rose petaled glasses you might make the trip to Pullman or elsewhere, oh nevermind because LSU doesn't travel across the Mississippi except for the Zona game years ago.
And just to make sure I validate your point, SC's in conference schedule is not at strong as LSU's and to validate mine you would might earn credibility by notating that USC cannot control their in conference schedule. And on the flipside we can chat about OOC. There is nothing to be said here, is there?
