Lestat, let me look into this. I got that number from Artie who is a member of our wrecking crew and he's not that bright at times. That's why we haven't certified the results. Clyde and myself will check this out.

65 you're just a troublemaker in general and our contests aren't guessing games. They are mostly skill as evidenced by the first 3 PPPP challenges having a lot of the same names on the leaderboard. The first 3 in the series averaged 92 players each, so if the same names are near the top every time it can't be luck.

Anyways, on to more important matters. It seems that Artie had the wrong totals on all four starting qb's and forgot about Detmer. He won't be grading any more of these things. He says he got the figures "off the net" but he says he forgets what site.

So lestats numbers are correct. It should be 752, so the certified winners are:

1. Joe Bell - 749 ($100)

2. Heavy hitter-745 ($50)

You guys can email madjack with your information. Don't spend it all in one place!!!

For their trouble, C20916 and Bookie will get a free entry into the PPPP(5), coming this spring.

Nice job lestat on the correction and to all who participated thanks once again for supporting the PPPP series, the best contest of it's kind on the net today!

The correction has been made and Artie will have the appropriate write-up placed in his file. Thank you.

It's been a while since we at PP headquarters have offered one of our exciting contests, but we're back this weekend with the 4th edition of the PPPP series!! This contest will be very simple, it will be Private Peteys Pick the Pigskin :142smilie Playoff Passing Proficiency contest.:142smilie

This is how it works. Simply predict the total amount of passing yards by the quarterbacks of all 4 teams combined this weekend. Running back passes or WR passes or punters passes do not count. Only quarterbacks. Whoever comes closest wins.

The winner receives $100 cash.

The 2nd closest gets $50 cash.

Because of a bubblewrap shortage  in Maryland, lucky mugs will not be offered this time around.

Please post your precient predictions in this thread along with a tiebreaker. The tiebreaker is total number of points scored by the four teams combined. Whoever is closest wins. It's not required that you post a tiebreaker, but if you don't and you end up in a tie, you lose.

This is how your post should look:

850
TB-100

Extraneous comments and smart alec remarks will be dealt with harshly. Any edited post will be disqualified.

After the results have been certified by PPPP HQ, the posters handles will be sent to Madjack. The winners will then send their info to madjack and madjack will promptly send out a check for the winnings.

 The following posters are known troublemakers in the PPPP series and are discouraged from participating.

Once again, thank you for your interest in the best contest of it's kind on the net today. The PPPP series!

His eyes would smile and he'd smile so big that you could see the chew on the top of his teeth (...and he'd tell you how disgusting of a habit smoking was) as soon as he took a look to his left . . . .and then to his right to make sure no one was listening. He especially loved saying bobbyblueballs.
