Exactly right Nole. I was going to go to "blind pick option" for the last two days, but I think we're going to go with it starting tomorrow for the last 4 days. It will be explained when I put up the picks thread for tomorrow in a bit.

Just so it is known, I only started doing this once I saw that it was being done by others near the top. You can go back and examine my past pick times.

One request....

If picks are Emailed in, I'd like to know everyone's picks before all games are completed. I think it's only fair that everyone knows what they are pulling for throughout the night.

And, if you were going to do it on the last two days, I think that's the way it should be. No need to change things up to punish certain people. Just my thoughts

Ppabart,

As I stated in the other thread, all emailed picks will be posted shortly after the first game goes off.

Also, the 2 day thing was only in my head, it's not like I posted it and now i'm changing it. There was also the possibility that we weren't going to do it at all, but that just won't work.

The way it's heading down the stretch lately, it's the only fair thing to do.

It's certainly not to "punish" anybody, it's just to be fair.

You've played the game within the framework of the rules, no doubt, but let's face it, ever since the beginning your pick has never varied from the people chasing you the most closely by more than 40 or 50 (usually less)and almost without exception you have been the last of the top players to post(no matter what time of day it happens to be).

Again, no problem, but this is turning into a "who can post last" contest, so for the last 4 days we're not going to have that problem.

We did it in the last one and it worked out just fine. In fact, the leader (and ultimate winner), Nostromo, didn't choose to email picks. He just let the chips fall while other top players emailed picks. Nostromo still won the thing fairly easily.

Hopefully you can understand my reasoning.

PP,

Only problem I have is it wasnt in the rules, and people who didn't play in PPPP1, (me), didn't know anything about it. I just think that the way I've played the game is fine and I certainly mean no harm by it. I am very appreciative to be a part of the contest, but I would have liked to have known about a possible format change prior to the last few days.
