You still don't get it, wow 🤦‍♂️
it's even funnier, because i'm pretty sure he THINKS he's a smart guy.

maybe the best part? he even acknowledged that i paraphrased him. which, obviously, is exactly what i did. hmmm... maybe he doesn't actually know what "paraphrase" means?

cie, i'm going to type slowly, so maybe you'll understand. and i'm going to paraphrase, or sum it up, even more.

you (literally) said that anyone who believes what trump said on the campaign trail is "a fool." that's an actual quote. let us know if that is somehow inaccurate.

you also said that you don't know why people are upset about what trump is doing, because he's doing what he said he was going to do on the campaign trail.

do you.... truly not understand why you are clearly talking out of both sides of your mouth? why you are a blatant hypocrite?

and on a related note... this one reflects on the kind of person that you are... are you ok with thousands (tens of thousands?) of government employees being suddenly out of a job while the world's richest man (not even an american) gleefully celebrates on the social media platform that he owns? most of whom are dedicated employees who took a job in the public sector, knowing they'd get paid less than in the private sector? and with zero actual review of what they do or how good they are at their job.

a stat i saw this morning... i haven't had time to verify... but it said that 1/3 of us government employees are people who served in the military. so if that's even close to true, possibly tens of thousands of us veterans are being put out of work.

oh, one more note on musk, since you think he's a great businessman (i mean, you also think the same of trump, so your judgment in this matter lacks clarity)... did you happen to notice what he's done to the value of twitter since he bought it? he went in with a similar style... SLASH EVERYONE!!... and absolutely destroyed the value of that company.

And even if he did, he wouldn't admit he was wrong.

one thing trump supporters have in common... the synapses just ain't firing on all cylinders.

they've already convinced themselves that it's just fine if we invade greenland and/or panama.

No chance I can read all that. You’re lying. And it would be very easy for you to screenshot to support your lies, but you can’t because I didn’t say it

I do not know whether Kamala or Trump said they would lower inflation on day one. But if they did, it would be campaign rhetoric

You guys are so fucking weird It’s not even funny.

This agenda was laid out in advance. Musk will audit the entirety of govt. I’m glad they are doing so. It’s good for us to see what’s happening with our tax dollars. People voted for it. 70% in Friday’s CBS poll say the administration is doing what they said they would. I would guess 100% would say this administration is doing what they said they would in this regard. 53% in same poll said they are satisfied with this admin to date. I am also satisfied, but I am not certain it will work out well. Only time will tell.

I bookmarked the national debt the day he took office. I’m hopeful that we can cut into that debt significantly next four years. If we’re able to slash that debt and curb out of control government spending, we will all benefit.

Will let you neolibs get back to wringing your hands and lying openly about me without supporting it despite all of my words easily available to search and screen shot.

I’ll be in south Florida then Panama for the next 3 weeks. Will be back here for Mardi Gras snd plan to stop in to say hello then. Ciao

I almost forgot, you weirdo, when you paraphrase someone you do not use quotes. You used quotes. So while I’m glad you acknowledged that you paraphrased, no one would have known that except for me because you used quotes. Constantly talking about intelligence in every post, but you seem strikingly lacking in that department.

Your paraphrase was disingenuous wordplay. If you use my actual quotes, then your post and your false argument have absolutely no weight.

Carry on.

I don’t think that we will or should invade any territories. Not Greenland, not Panama, and not Gaza. We obviously won’t. You don’t think we will either.

oh, so we're back to... "you can't believe anything trump says?"

the president of the united states literally talked about invading greenland and panama. and, yes, throwing palestinians out of gaza and building a resort there. how the fuck this is real life, i have no idea.

do i think we'll actually invade any or all of them? i have no idea. obviously it should be an easy "no, of course not." but it's not. and if the right people keep telling trump that he should do it, then he probably will. because he is as easily manipulated as you are. and if we do invade any of them, by that time you will be convinced that it was the right thing to do.

and, as usual, i love how you ducked the previous discussion because... i typed too many words. sorry, i thought typing slowly would help you. guess i need to type slowly and use fewer words.

it's no surprise that you're not a big reader.

you are absolutely hilarious, because you know you're full of shit. i'm guessing you read my response and realize you can't rebut a single thing i said. so you pretend that it's just too many darn words.

you also know that both of your comments that i referenced WERE direct quotes, which is why i used the screenshots. just because donald trump can deny he said things that he's been recorded saying doesn't mean you can do it, too.

i can't imagine what it's like to lose every single argument, but unable to admit being wrong.

ok, that's probably already too many words.

Now he "can't read all that".

Not admitting you are wrong, getting owned over and over again, being called out for being a hypocrite, but now we have a new one "I can't read all that"

😆

And he still doesn't get it.....holy shit:smilies21

That is what he does...

gets called out, gets owned, deflects, ignores, changes the subject, never admits he was wrong....posts more lies and made up facts, doubles down on those bullshit lies.

Then contradicts himself....and now we have a new one..... "I can't read all that":D

oh, that's at least the 2nd time he's used that excuse.

it's sad, because arguing with trump supporters is like arguing with a brick wall. even someone like cie, who keeps insisting he's not a big trump fan, and yet he believes everything the guy says (except when it's convenient not to). "aw, c'mon, he didn't REALLY mean people should inject bleach."

as we've stated here many times before... trump supporters didn't come to their current beliefs via facts and logic, so facts and logic sure ain't gonna help pull them out of the cult.

it's really pathetic that cie read my post and realized he couldn't respond with any valid points, so he chose the "meh, i can't be bothered to read that" excuse.

i just looked up the one stat that i didn't confirm before... and, sure enough, roughly 30% of federal workers are veterans. so everybody who is fine with what elon musk (and trump) is doing, is fine with tens of thousands of veterans being put out of a job. for no reason whatsoever.

'Murica!
