PS3 and Modern Warfare

I was not a gamer until I played the PS3... For 5 hours today I played Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and have to say I want a PS3.

It is incredible. Does anyone know of any specials or discounts at any of the major big box stores?

A 20% coupon to Kmart, Walmart, or Target would basically pay for the game.

Any add ons, or games that you think are great would be appreciated.

Must say the graphics and online play are unreal!

Going to buy one this week.

Got that game for my kid. I was told to go ahead and get headsets and wifi connection for our 360 to get the best experience of online play.

We will be playin xmas all day

I have it for the XBox 360. Haven't played a game in like 3 years, yeah its the most amazing thing ever lol. I played for like 3 hours.

The airport level was very disturbing though.

COD and Bioshock only 10 out of 10 rated games I've seen...

Bioshock 2 comes out in Feb...start with the first one...

COD on-line play...headsets are good if u are playing with people u know..if not its just a bunch of kids dropping F bombs...

I won't let my son use the headphones...hell, he learns enough listening to 'dad'

Especially when the little British kids get on there who sound like theyre about 10 years old and they start cursing up a storm. I find it very funny.

Will do. Sold out in GA so sister is picking one up in Alabama for me. Didn't realize a year later that it would still be a big Christmas item.

I have to admit that i've been thinking about picking up a PS3 just for that game. I never bought my own system. I never got into video games at all but i'm about ready to jump in.

A lot of pluses... I think you can even surf the web on it...

I think i'm gonna pick one up after xmas. The only game I really ever got into was Goldeneye. Of course i'm a big Bond fan but that was a great game.

I was thinking of a PS3 as well. Was going to make the move to blue ray anyway, so for a couple of extra bucks you get a blue ray plus. I have not played video games in a long time, and am not sure that playing zombie slaughter games is a good idea with a 4 and 2 yo running around, but I played about 10 minutes of a zombie slaughter game at Best Buy the other day. It was wickedly entertaining.

Question, is the PS3 blue ray player of good quality? I ask because I have no idea.
