PS3 and Modern Warfare

I was thinking of a PS3 as well. Was going to make the move to blue ray anyway, so for a couple of extra bucks you get a blue ray plus. I have not played video games in a long time, and am not sure that playing zombie slaughter games is a good idea with a 4 and 2 yo running around, but I played about 10 minutes of a zombie slaughter game at Best Buy the other day. It was wickedly entertaining.

Question, is the PS3 blue ray player of good quality? I ask because I have no idea.

I did some research on that, because I planned to use it a lot for the same reason. It seems like it was an above average blue ray player. Hope some others can add input.

I have owned both systems and I still own the Xbox 360.

I didn't like the PS3's online interface and Xbox has more stuff on their "LIVE" system.....

Gamestop was out on the first one.

I preordered Heavy Rain and purchased Assassin's Creed 2 $59? and a used copy of Star Wars The Force Unleashed for like 17 bucks. Is there another place to get new games cheaper?

Star Wars was my thing being born in 77 and as a kid always liked the bad guys...

Played this until 3 AM last night. The digital sound and the light saber were awesome!

Really cool game if you haven't played it although the graphics have dead spots if you get next to a wall...

Let me know what you think of Assassin's Creed 2. I haven;t opened it yet and the reviews are mixed...
