Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
thanks to all

thanks to all

I probably come across to many as a crusty old buzzard, but I do truly appreciate the kind words.

We also have a 3 year old Havanese dog, (rescued in Vegas) he was present at the vet.
I think he is slowly realizing the finality....he is hardly eating, unsure, and smells Dewey's favorite lounging areas in the house. They were constant companions for 2 years.

This is going to take time......

My screen name says it all. Four years ago when I had to say goodbye to our 16 yr. old shih tzu, I said no more dogs. It's just too hard to say goodbye. Six months later my wife and a friend brought over an eight week old miniature schnauzer with the sweetest face. I stood firm and said no, until they put him in my arms and he licked my face with such love. He's 3 now, and such a joy in my life, still licking my face at every opportunity...and to think I might have missed out!!!! I'll never forget my 4 late friends, but life is so much better with them than without them. You'll see your beloved pets again at the Rainbow Bridge.

Sorry for your loss, i put our first dog when she was 7 with cancer

it was terrible and time will heal that or another dog will. Waited a year to get another dog, best decision we ever made.

There's a saying, never trust anybody that doesn't like dogs.

So sorry to hear. Gonna be a very tough day we have to put our princess down. The dog literally changed me as a person. The unconditional love is like no other. Take care

My wife and I have been crying off and on all day.....

Dewey was 15 yrs 5 months old.

He was a rescued dog (actually he rescued us, we had put our 13 yr old female yellow lab Katie down a month prior to discovering Dewey.)

The stories I could tell, our wonderful adventures, his indomitable spirit.....

Dewey, may you catch all the rabbits in dog paradise....you will be sorely missed......

Sorry for your loss
