I cant say that I like Mijares at those odds, even thought he will most likely win a decicsion.

-300 is a tad high for my taste. That sucks bigtime. Shit happens and as wild as Vic D. is one never knows. -200 Is a play for me, even-225, but that's it. If you looked at the Navvaro fight you will see Mijares eating a lot of shots.

I think the cat is outta the bag with Mijares. I was thinking the line was gonna be -225 ish and thats my limit for buying it. Vic can crack and if anybody can stop Mijares its him. However Mijares' skills are p4p good.

When the ass-draggers at 5Dimes/Sportsbetting post props, we can re-visit this matchup. It will be fun to watch at any rate.

sorry...i lost it there for a second....

anybody get an early line on this thing?..

thanks..

Some funny dudes in here. Looks to me like there will be mucho fights to bet on this weekend and I was looking for some lines today also.. really seems like most of these sites are afraid to lead and just want to follow once some action has gone back and forth on other sites. The Greek in particular has no faith in whoever their boxing guru is. They wait as long as possible. Seem to have nice numbers on dogs though when it's time to hedge late.

who are you liking this week buttchomp?

Did you just call me buttchomp?? Man, I got to change that user name... Seems like there's going to be some heavy favorites and it's nothing special picking a heavy favorite...I'll be looking at some over unders and inside the distance type props... Seems like the South African is going to have to be something special to last against Donaire. I don't think Nonito has much interest in going the distance and I believe he's sharp right now.

My HUGE bet will be Sturm this weekend. He is the more talented boxer and will bust Sylvester up.

I think I will also take a small shot on Julio.

Back in Canada!!! Thank Fuk :00hour

Good luck boys.

Ghost: have you, or anyone for that matter tracked this "fight-writer" guy's record as far as W-L ? He seems to get some notice here on many occasions. I used to read his stuff but haven't very much lately, and when I did I did not keep track of his record. If Mijares opens at too much of a chalk I will give crazy Vic a small play I think. Mijares has a 50% KO ratio, and 3 of his last 6 wins were by KO, which may point toward a stoppage by either guy? Vic D. says he likes to take guys out and he means it. He may go bye-bye if he is too reckless. As a bud says, he could get away with that fighting smaller guys, but he is moving up 3 clicks so who knows. Strum is the better man but he may have to work a little harder to get the W here. May look at Julio at +almost 300. Not reading the tea leaves too clearly this w/e yet.

I see Sturm vs. Sylvester as a competetive fight, there really is bad blood between the two, so we might get a more interersting fight than you would usually expect from the two..

Sylvester really has improved lately, he might have a real shot here, though Sturm is apparently the home fighter and will probably get the nod if the fight is close...

So far, no play for me...might go for a draw....

As for Mijares Vic, I think there really might be some value in Vic by decision, I expect to get pretty good odds on that prop...Mijareas @-300 is no play for me,...maybe if the over is reasonable....

@+300 I'm contemplating to bet Julio....

Don't let Sylvesters last fight fool you.
He caught Castillo at the right time. An old fighter with a lot of hard fights behind him.

Sylvester is not a big puncher and he has a shaky chin.

In my opinion, Randy Griffin is a much better boxer than Sylvester and Sturm handled him in their rematch.

This fight will be won by speed. Sturm will be too quick for Sylvester and don't be surprised if Sturm cuts him to shreds.

I think the fightwriter is picking 2 upsets in the hopes of hitting one and looking like a genius.

Good luck all.
