"the bunker"
5 dimes just posted vic at +230....so i grabbed a small piece.....

was gonna play it heavier and wait for some props to hedge with, but,i don`t feel like getting in to deep...small play on the dog is enough...

it`s not what i was hoping for(like mijares via decision),but,i have to believe that darchinyan has a puncher`s chance...

there are several split decisions and a draw on mijares` log of late.....and as some mentioned previously, lefty navarro was relatively effective...

Good question regarding Graham Houston's track record Frank

don't think I have seen it posted in any numeric form...but I certainly respect his ability to pick the Euro fights...he seems to have his finger on the pulse there

not really liking what I see so far this week

Nonito and Arce huge favorites and I don't give their opponents much of a chance

still waiting on the Chavez-Vanda line...

i think this Mijares-Darchinyan line is going to bounce around quite a bit....support on both sides of the fence there

good luck guys

lines finally out

Yuck

Chavez Jr. -800

hate that line as I think Chavez will win

slim pickings otherwise

looks llke i will be playing a few over-unders....the favorites are too large....

ugh---over-unders----now entering the danger zone

round prop

round prop

Play: Mijares/Darchinyan; UNDER 11.5-120. Some guys "say" they are going to KO an opponent, but it's only a possibility they MAY try. This Vic cat WILL try surely leaving open the chance of some kind of stoppage. That's it for now.

Oh fuking great! Now crazy Vic D. says he will fight smart/controlled and won't go for the KO. WTF! All month all he has been chirping about is his penchant for decapitation of opponents. Well, maybe he will start out that way but may go native on us if he gets tagged too much or gets desparate.

I'm not really sold on anything so far this week, but my guess is that this fight could well go 12 rounds.

Mijares is really tough and qucik, but I dont think he carries a major punch.
Vic has been stopped once, but I think he underestimated Donaire and Donaire is a much better puncher...

Boy not much fun this week beyond Mijares-Darch and the German card

I'm gonna go small tonight on two plays

Diaz-Trejo under 9.5 SMALL +245

Trejo SMALL +900

Simply an odds bet. In my mind, Trejo is past it, but if he comes to fight hopefully he can give Diaz trouble.
He is very durable, so the under is a risk.

However, I have never trusted Julio Diaz and I'm not going to start tonight. I will never forget Valenzuela starching him in one round.

Hopefully Trejo lands a lucky punch and breaks that chin.

REPEAT. Simply a value bet. Expecting a Diaz decision.

Good luck guys.

So Cal
Article in the LA Times today about Vic. He came out talking big time - says he will destroy Mijares and KO him in 3. He talked about how his whole personality changes when he is in the ring. A lot of big talk. I'd be tempted to go under.

I ran with the UNDER 11.5 so far. Vic is a loose cannon of sorts, and I say he goes ape-shit eventually and tries to decapitate Mijares. That's just who he is. He may get put to sleep also if it's a shootout, and Mijares is a sharpshooter.

Like you guys, I wanted a play on Mijares but the odds are too wide, I took a small play on Mijares KO +210. Darch is going to get hit clean and often, and at some point abandon any gameplan and go for wild bombs. He will certainly get caught lunging, if it happens enough he could be stopped.

Also big on Sturm, and I'm tailing frank and Ghost Kid on Monitel under. I think you guys are on to something, and the Kessler under was terrific.
