Final Round 2 ball Accumulator:

Johnstone v Bickerton EVS
Clarke v S Hansen 2/5
Woosnam v Immelman 4/7
Gallacher v Monty 7/4

1 Unit @ Spodds.

I'm still anxiously awaiting these horrendous desert winds that are so infamous in this part of the world. The weather forecast shows signs of the breeze we've had this week maybe getting somewhere near what can be called windy for the final rd. This I hope should liven up what has otherwise been a rather lackluster event.

Final update:

Matchups: 0-3; -6.86 units

Price/Lawrie All Square (ties lose @ Bet365 )
Jacobson/Muntz LOST by 2
Pettersson/Muntz LOST by 6

Outrights: 0-3; -4.50 units

Woosnam 18th
Gronberg 58th
Pettersson 55th

Can't believe that this looked like being a very good tournament in Friday afternoon. Muntz produced a miracle comeback to make the cut and ultimately beat both Jacobson and Pettersson, while Price had lead all week until the very end and the dreaded European tie came into effect. Woosie had always been in contention for a place finish until the last day. Very disappointing blank from the week.

European Tour ytd
Matchups: 3-5; -5.97 units
Outrights: 0-6; -7.50 units

It was heartbreaking to see Monty birdie 17 + 18 to beat both my main bets of the week. The wind finally got up Sunday causing conditions to play hard and fast which totally undid him. Too little to late. I definately overplayed the wind factor this week with mild conditions for the 1st 3 days proving my undoing.
