I have not once indicated that the 2020 election was stolen. In fact, it’s one of the things that I catch flak from from my extremely partisan right wing friends. That’s correct, I catch heat from extreme partisans on both sides. Obviously, in the real world, the flak is far more respectful because my friends aren’t unhinged lunatics, but I definitely catch resistance on many of what I seem to be common sense takes. For example, I have buddies who are thrilled with Matt Gaetz as AG. Personally, I don’t want an AG with a history of the appearance of ethical and criminal impropriety. I didn’t say there was ethical and criminal impropriety, but the appearance of it is in my opinion enough to not confirm him as AG. I learned a lot about the appearance of impropriety during the Willis/Wade sideshow in the outrageous RICO trial against Donald Trump in Georgia. When you’re talking about judges and prosecutors, the appearance of malfeasance is all you need to remove them from their position, or recuse them from their role in a trial. I’m using that in this case because Attorney General of the United States is the number one law enforcement position in the country. I want a pristine criminal and ethical background. The last two attorney generals have been highly partisan, so this one being highly partisan doesn’t concern me. But I digress. My position on stolen elections is there is some malfeasance in all major elections globally. I do not feel like there has been a rigged major election in modern American history. Among the 4 or so major issues that I’ve had with Trump since he ran v the first time, one of them is his constant dwelling on how the 2020 election was stolen and not lost. Again, is there some targeted malfeasance in all major elections, and I strongly believe this. But was it enough to sway the 2020 election? I don’t believe so. And his constant dwelling on that is the behavior of a loser. I feel like besides abortion, his stolen election talk is one of the reasons Republicans under performed in the 2022 midterms. You are not a serious person.
