Oh my gosh...
quite frankly ... this show is unwatchable..
I wish ESPN would just stop hyping this dog...
Steven A(as in ass) Smith interview style(if you can call it one) is torture.
This show makes PTI look like Emmy award winning television.
Please just go away...
Please....
Please....

The thing with ESPN is they will never admit they are wrong about any show.
I guess they think they can do no wrong..
If this powerbottom Steven A (a is for awful) has his own show the Sean Salsbury hour cant be to far behind... an hour of him and that goober with the glasses in some sort of verbal pseudohomo erotic standoff could be quite the show......

They won't admit that they show is bad, they'll just tuck it away to ESPN2 at 3am much like they did to Rome is Burning.

As for Salsbury and Clayton, they already have a terrible show, only on ESPN radio. Not sure who finds enjoyment to listening to those two banter but some talking head must like them.

With any luck Salsbury will predict the Eagles aren't going to make the playoffs this year, like he has for the past 4 seasons. Seems to be a good luck charm

Agree totally about Steven A. Smith. He's terrible. Can't stand Rome either, on radio or on tv. Salisbury makes me turn the channel as well. However, I think Clayton actually has a good football mind and generally knows what he is talking about. I've always kinda liked Stuart Scott, but I think they need to relegate him to Sportscenter only.

I'm told that the 18-24year-old/black demographic is the most lucrative in the advertising market.
This group buys stuff and is a targeted audience.
I never wanted to watch one minute of the show, personally.

So the 18-24 black demographic is the most lucrative..
Makes sense.. No college loans to pay back...
a good 8 years slinging crack has built a large bank account..

(said with tongue firmly in cheek..before anyone labels me a racist..)

Don't like Stephen A. Smith or Stuart Scott. It's too bad someone I liked such as Kevin Frazier left to host a entertainment show and these clowns stay around.

ESPN has been going downhill on everything. Once they got big enough where the sports didn't matter and the marketing was the biggest focus it started to suck.

used to like the guy, someting diffrent,, most people dont like him b/c his hip hopish style and b/c he's black no real reasons mentiond so i guess its that...
like i said though i used to like him,but after i found out he knows jack chit i cant stand him..on 1 show i forget witch 1,he stated how the stupid chargers should have tried to kick the field goal on 1st down and if they missed it they could try again on 2nd down and if they missed that try on 3rd down, the guy was dead serious...and trust me ,he didnt mean if they muffed it he actually thought they could retry the feildgoals until 4th down.makes you think sometimes want kind of qualifactions you really need to be a anylst thats not a former player/coach..no way he should talk about anything besides basketball.

For me it has nothing to do with the fact that he's black. He freaking SCREAMS every time he talks, for all I know he's making good points but my ears can only take 10 seconds of it. Not to mention he always says "I talked to so-and-so just today" like all the elite athletes are just lining up to talk w/ him.

You guys don't like Salsbury? I think he provides solid commentary. I also don't mind Smith. He does get annoying at times but if he has a guest that interests you his show is good. For example I really enjoyed it when Weis was on. Iverson was interesting. If he has a guest I like, then I'll tivo it. I would like to see Kobe on it.

Does anyone else hate that dance he does when they are promoting the show? Right after they show him dancing he does that arrogant walk. Drives me crazy everytime they show that.

Scott...........you forgot to mention that Salisbury is a former USC quarterback.........

Joking aside , I think he is ok but I have no idea why he and John Clayton argue so much. I almost find it embarressing listening to them together.
