"the bunker"
thankfully we got the disgraceful performance we hoped for out of rahman....

out of shape,slow,ponderous...

it`s a little disap[pointing that it took klit 7 rounds to do the job....his brother would have disposed of rahman much more quickly,imo...

wlad is a verrrry cautious fighter..

i ain`t complainin` though...

if not for oscar,i may have considered laying the -414 itd(a real no-no for me)...

but,i`m really gunshy...

good job everyone..

Sorry for the loss.
I admit to have wanted to bet Baysangourov, but at 1.10 at least.
I'm back at 1/2 of what my winnings were before being Oscar'ed ( and feeling less raped).
On to Valuev next week...

small play on Oquendo +240, though I'm rooting for Toney out of respect for a legend.

Gotta take the value. Toney's post-Peter status is still unknown, we see how shot Rock is, and it only went 3 rounds.

Oquendo is a live body, and has a decent jab. What worries me most is th elate notice, to beat Toney he has to just throw lots of punches and not worry about landing or going for the KO. Toney doesn't move like he used to, just endlessly throw punches and outwork him to a decision.

I hope Oquendo was already in training for another fight.

Did anyone watch the weigh-in?

Wlad was waaaay to cautious. I echo all the sentiments in some of the previous posts about him letting his damn hands go. Arreola would have ben done in one. Vitali in about 3. Wlad is $10M body but he has a very fragile psyche. He fights very nervous. That said, What a f***ing jab, though.

much as i love toney as a fighter,i was looking at oquendo,too...

the prob is that it`s a twelve rounder and i`ve seen oquendo fade terribly late in some fights...

of course toney will be relegated to standing against the ropes by around the eighth or ninth ...

i`d like to play oquendo...but,i don`t know...

Betjamaica graded my under 6.5 rounds in the Klit fight as a loss. WTF? This is what they have on their rules page:

Other betting options:
"Total" number of rounds is often available as a proposition.
(1 full round is 3 minutes and ? round is 90 seconds).

Example:
Will go 7? Rounds +120 = Risk $100 to win $120.
Will not go 7? Rounds -140 = Risk $140 to win $100.

The bettor can either choose the Over (Will go) or the Under (Will not go) number of rounds. If the scheduled length of the match is changed, all prior wagers on the number of rounds will be graded as "No Action".

In round by round betting, if a boxer fails to answer the bell, the fight will be deemed to have ended in the previous round.

Looks like a win to me?

They graded you WRONG. The stoppage was 44 seconds into the 7th round. Clearly UNDER 6.5 rounds. Make sure those pricks correct that shit.

@ghost kid:
I usually leave these wide favorits alone...only include them in parlays, if I cant bet any more straight...last time I did it I included Karmazin and he suffered that bad meltdown...ironically, the fight that really mattered to me was cancelled...but I ended up losing my parlay of course...

I wasnt impressed by Wladimir today...he fights VERY cautious...and he has no uppercut....Rahman was as expected though...so everything went out just fine...

Very true.
Rock was leaning on his left-front side every time Vlad throw something.
Right cross-left uppercut would get job done but he throw it only once (miss) in 6th I believe

As good as wlad is and he is a good fighter, he has some big flaws. He's certainly safety first since the Brew fiasco and the man has no inside game at all. I noticed he didn't throw any uppercuts when Rock was wide open for one and NO body punches. He also isn't a very good finisher. He tends to let guys off the hook too much and give them a 2nd, 3rd chance.Take away Wlads jab and back him up and he's in no mans land. It's much easier said than done. His jab is the best in the business and it's punishing.
