Which policy of Biden's led to the global increase in consumer goods pricing?

What did lead to increased prices:
Trump tariffs on Chinese goods (consumers pay more)
Trump's free money handouts to citizens (dollar devalued)
Trump's free money handouts to businesses (dollar devalued)
Trump's corporate tax cuts that were supposed to pay for themselves but cost the US trillions (dollar devalued)
Trump's supply chain meltdown during his botched handling of COVID (supply shortage)
The war in Ukraine (Republicans are fighting Biden's attempt to help defeat Russia) (supply shortage on wheat)

Wayne, I was just thinking about the good old days of the Trump presidency. We had text chats with friends and family about where to find toilet paper and how to get around the restrictions on canned good limits. That definitely wasn't the foundation of the high prices we're still battling, was it?

When was the last Republican presidency that didn't end in an economic disaster?

We know why Wayne ignores these questions.

same reason every trump voter does.... they simply don't know until sean hannity tells them. and, of course, hannity can't provide answers to legitimate questions.

the great enemy of the maga voter is not immigration or "wokeness". it's facts.

Good point. I should probably send my questions to Fox News/Business.

yeah, just cut out the middle man. seriously, if you ask a maga voter one of these questions in person, you can smell the smoke coming out of their ears. you gotta step back in case their head actually explodes.

it's sad to watch it here. these guys get their talking points from faux and post them here. then, when we either A) ask legitimate questions or B) point out why they are simply wrong, they can't handle it.

it's be hilarious, if it wasn't so fucking serious.

Democratic US Rep. Jim Clyburn admitted to MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski on Wednesday morning that Americans “are seeing the prices at the stores costing more money,” but claimed that “people are in fact earning greater incomes” and “the inflation rates are down.”

But every month from April 2021 to April 2023 — a majority of the Biden presidency — price inflation has outpaced wage growth, siphoning away consumers’ purchasing power, according to government data.

The latest CPI data — which tracks changes in the costs of everyday goods and services — means that consumer prices still have yet to fall year-over-year since President Joe Biden’s term began in January 2021.

At the time, inflation sat at 1.4% — 150% less than Wednesday’s 3.5% reading.

What suggestions do you have for Joe to fix this?

god, you're stupid. sorry, i really am trying not to use that word. IGNORANT. you're fucking ignorant.

really? "consumer prices still have yet to fall year-over-year since President Joe Biden’s term began in January 2021"? THAT'S HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO FUCKING WORK!! consumer prices do not fall over time. that would be deflation. not a sign of a healthy economy.

you know what? do your own fucking work. google "deflation". maybe then you'll understand why that' would be bad.

first of all, WHN has gone to great length to spell out the causes of the rampant inflation we've been going through. i'll give you the reader's digest version... it's been a global issue, but the US is bouncing back faster than ANY INDUSTRIALIZED NATION.

secondly, i love how you use data ending a full year ago. you're admitting biden inherited a shitty economy and in the last year we have started to recover from the mess left by his predecessor. so thank you for confirming we're better off with biden in the white house.

i eagerly await your intelligent, well-thought out reply.

Happy Jack, you too seem to be skipping some questions and points already posted in this thread. Inflation didn't happen overnight. It all started during the previous administration, when the cost of money was left too low for too long and a buffoon completely botched his response to a global pandemic.

die, resign or get voted out. Only way out of this mess
Look at the timeline on when inflation hit. Do you really think Biden did something in his first 39 days that led to this? Are you serious? You think he did something that led to producers and retailers reacting that quickly? Think it through. It was a year plus in the making and the orange fuck up was in charge.

Once again......

NO FUCKING ANSWERS FROM ANY OF YOU IDIOTS!!!!!

"What should he do to make things better?"

Uhhhhh.....drrrp.......whaaaaa......ummmmmm.

You have no idea, because you're clueless. Just keep listening to how horrible your life is, and how shitty America is under Biden.

Let's fast forward, and Trump is back in office in 2024. Are you going to tell me businesses are going to drop prices on EVERYTHING? Crops will magically grow in drought conditions and floods? The answer is, no. But, Trump will tell you how good you have it, and you will say, "Right on!", and be happy as shit, even though nothing has changed. But, the greatest President in your lifetime will be doing another fantastic job.

once again, hedgehog has enlightened us. now we know the truth! joe biden, with nothing to do in 2017-2020, went to china and helped them create the coronavirus that killed 1M+ americans. just so he could fake-win the election in 2020! and... destroy the country he has dedicated his life to serving?

never mind the fact that the impact on this country would have been mitigated by a competent response from US leadership at the time.

anyway, more evidence that joe biden truly is a criminal mastermind. despite being a doddering old fool. damn, he's crafty!

Biden claims inflation was 'skyrocketing' when he took office, despite data showing opposite

President Biden asserted on Wednesday that inflation was surging when he took office in January 2021, despite federal data showing the opposite.
However, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data, inflation was recorded at just 1.4% in January 2021 when Biden took office. It remained below 3% until April 2021, when it surged 4.2% and continued increasing until it hit a 40-year high of 9.1%.

Wayne, just ignore all the posts directed right to you. We both know why you won't answer.

Comparing fuel prices now to when the entire white collar workforce was working from home is not even slightly dishonest, is it? More people are working now (post Trump layoffs) and most of the white collar workforce is back in the office.
Please Google "Supply and Demand".
