Wouldn't have called a foul on the Williams shot? LOL..come on, Freeze. That is terrible. Williams was already in the air about to shoot and Fife jumped across his shooting path...Williams leaned in a bit to ensure the foul was called...no doubt about that. Did you miss the last five minutes of the game when Duke couldn't buy a call going to the basket but on the other end Indy kept waltzing to the line at the slightest contact?
Was it the guy from Indiana that threw the ball towards the hoop too then? Or was it Boozer? How did it "look to you like" when you only watched the first 3 minutes of the game anyways? geeesh, some people never cease to amaze me.
did not see down the stretch.....maybe some calls went against Duke......probably did....i posted this at the beginning and based on previous experiences.....thought i clarified that......refs probably did get involved in comeback with pro-Indy crowd much like they did when Duke came back against ND......
play at the end of game guy grabbed the ball from Boozer i thought....first thought it was foul but replay it looked otherwise...Boozer just muscled it up and threw it off the glass
I am not a Duke fan myself, I guess I just have a case of the red ass because I took the over, at 148. If Williams makes the free throw, or Boozer makes the putback, I win. Neither happened, so not only did the sorry asses blow a big lead and not cover, they couldn't finish, to give me the double whammy!
I'm right there with you A1. Williams missed exactly the same way in the Virginia reg season game. Even if he misses, Indy should get the rebound and we have the over on free throws. That was the worst possible scenario. Hell, we would have been better off with Williams not getting fouled. What a pisser...
Yeppers, even if Boozer doesn't come up with the rebound on the missed free throw, was time for an intentional foul and Ind. free throws. Or if...... Oh nevermind, just chalk it up as taking one in the ass, I know I did.
GL the rest of the way.
