I read in the Denver Post this morning that in the month of July only-- $29.7 million dollars of pot
for recreational use only was sold in Colorado. :scared
$28.9 was sold in July for medical purposes

Alot of ths is going into edibles and it does not account for how much was sold illegally

Old School, I have always found that exercise and pot go together pretty well. Take a little and play some ball, go for a hike, take a swim or pump some iron. Whatever you like. Maybe not long-distance running for most, but I do know some who combine the two. Maybe I'm in the minority on this view, but I know many who agree with me. I seriously doubt that legalizing marijuana will exacerbate the obesity crisis any further. It's roots are the sprawling layout of most of the US combined with the industrial food system.

When it becomes legal I would like to try it just to see what the big deal is with it, thats a lot of tax revenue...I think in time it will be legal in all 50 states, believe it or not I am for it, but I am for a huge tax just like alcohol and tobacco

Actually the tax income was below their projections (way below) for the 1st half year--blamed it on the
illegal sales being more than they thought?

lazy American's with yet another legalized self-medication.

It ain't prompting to many chubbies :Kid1:to hit the gym..

"Hey honey,ya going to cut the grass today?

"Ain't happening sugar dumpling, hitting the couch even earlier w/the Nacho's and a "cold one".Stopped by the ""High and Bye" today and got some of that "Black Destroyer" .

Personally I could care less what effect the whole legalized culture has on USA.

BUT...if the elected officals are going to clear the way across America to have the option by state to vote for or against..

Then release every damn person in jail or prison for the offense of simple possession..

Folks can't be locked while their buddies are driving by the jailhouse or prison all stoned up and yakking on that god damn cell phone..

for full disclosure..

I have smoked enough pot in my lifetime..to fill up the truck bed of a F-250 Super Duty with a camper shell on it..

Spent very very close to 15 straight years of my life stoned every friggin day..

was it fun ..yes..would I waste that much friggin time shooting pool and sucking down cold ones and dobbies every day again..not for a million trillion dollars..

You have said this before, and I have responded like this before, but I just can't understand why a small government loving Republican would want a tax.
I want it to be legalized and not taxed at all. :00hour
Money in the hands of the government is subject to mismanagement and corruption.

And as for trying it when it is legal, give it a few tries as it takes a while to get the hang of it. :0008

I want my property taxes to go down and federal income taxes to go down, if this helps then great...you are correct, money in politicians hands is not good, but it will never be legalized without a hefty tax, just being real about it...I want to try it sometime, I am almost 40 and never tried it
