Why would you use them? Can you afford to lose money? Why risk unless you already have money in wsex, wwts, cris, pinnacle, 5dimes, olympic, betgameday, etc.

I have seen numerous problems with Royal and its affiliates on other forums on the slow pay/no pay issue....

I could always count on seeing Royal at the top of the page in the forums on those issues alone.

There are a handful of rock solid books that have been in the business for years, with solid reputations, deep pockets, and outstanding customer service. Royal is not one of those books...if you get out to some of the other forums, you will see exactly what I'm talking about.

Bottom line, stay clear of Royal.

i have yet to see a legit slow pay or no pay anywhere. one particular affiliate of theirs pulled his sheet from them when the sheet was in the hole and the bashing began from that particular affiliate, his ghost posters and his butt boys.

if anybody out there is having a problem getting paid from betroyal, please post here then send me your acct ID. if it's legit, i'll have you paid right away.

i bet we don't get one legit complaint.

thanks for your post, marco, i know you're trying to be helpful.

over 40,000 different people read this site every week and i am 99.9% sure there won't be one legitimate complaint that can be verified. in order to verify a complaint, i need the user to email me their account ID and i will find out.

any takers?

I think i will belly up again with royal. i used them for about four years up until last year. All of a sudden they acuse me of being a professional, and limited me. However, i get a call the other day from one of their reps wanting me to reup. So i guess i've got my amateur status back. Just making sure though. Seems to be some bad vibes about them, but jack was right no takers on his offer and it has been over a week now.

tennessee tout.....you said you used them for 4 years until they accused you of being a professional, then limited you.....

Why the hell are you going back? There are better books out there who won't play these type of games with you.

getting a withdrawal from Royal is like pulling teeth. Very time consuming, customer service is mediocre and clueless - at best.

I decided to give them another try after Jack's endorsement, but I'll stick with books that pay quick and have a clue. Just my opinion...

chump, thanks for the post but if you don't mind....
could you please send me your account ID so I can verify the problems you had with royal and so i can find out WHY you had problems? if it's true, it would definitely help me find out what's going on over there. you are the first member of madjacks that has had this problem, that i know of, and i'd like to get to the bottom of it.

if you don't provide me with the account ID i don't think i can let your post stand.

thanks,

jack@madjacksports.com

thanks for the email, chump. IMO it wasn't as bad as your post sounded.

ok, i called and talked to Richard (anybody can call and ask for Richard anytime rather than going through whatever cleck picks up the phone) and inquired about the withdrawals chump made this week.

he requested a neteller on monday and received it on tuesday.

he requested a fedex today and they will have the tracking number by 6pm today.

there was a little confusion he had with a clerk or two but i think a withdrawal within 24 hours twice in one week is hardly like pulling teeth and not slow.

if anybody ever has a problem, let me know. or, you can call and talk to richard for VIP treatment (madjack members only)

agreed that it wasn't too bad, but books that advertise here should be way above average and have good customer service and quick payouts.

I apologize if i gave the wrong impression to the board.

I'm just used to books that are better suited for me like jamaica, wagerweb, bet19, gameday, wwts, wageronsports, bowmans, pinnacle, 5dimes etc. All pay Netellers within a few hours...

On the course!
These guys are a joke!

I have never asked for any money from them, but here is a sample of the woes I have with them:

  • Parlay fking

Another place that shows you one price for a parlay, and then changes it to lower odds on the confirmation page!

That's right......make a wager, they show you a payoff, and then when you confirm the wager, it comes back with the odds substancially lower! Mind you, they don't ask if you want to still make the bet, IT IS ALREADY CONFIRMED AT THE NEW PRICE!

  • Stealing

That's right....I said stealing! Again, I will have a parlay the shows a payoff of let's say.....$31 on the wager. If it wins, the account is credited with $30. WTF is that? Or if the payout has odd cents in it, say $25.37, they keep the .37!

They have no problem charging you that .37 when you make the wager, but feel it's okay to keep it from you when you win. Multiply this by thousands of wagers a week, and I am sure that the profit is astounding!

  • Bad customer service

I have had some grading issues with these guys. Bets not graded for as long as ten days. No response to phone calls, or emails. Finally, after a few more emails, the bets got graded. Thing is, I got screwed on these, too!

I am not done with them, but I should not have to hassle this much over shit that should be routine. Here's the deal:

When they finally graded the wagers, they deducted the losses, and added the wins. Sounds good, right? But here's the story on that! The "lost" wagers have already been deducted. That happens when you place the bet! So, they are now "double dipping" my account for the losses. The winners? Added to the account, sure enough, but my original bet is not returned! So I make a $55 wager, and they add $50 to my account, instead of the $105 I should get!

  • Software problems

I informed them about two weeks ago about a glitch that popped up.

On Baseball run lines, if you bet the -1' and the game is + money, it computes as - money.

That is to say a game that is listed as +150 comes up -150 when you try to wager.

I would think they could fix this easily enough, yet is hasn't been fixed, and my email hasn't been returned.

Well, that's my story with these guys up to this point. I will let you know how it shakes out.

Breaking news of a sophisticated scam leads to a downgrade of all Royal Sports owned sportsbooks. Downgrades to include Royal Sports, Lay107 and Gamblers Ave from D to F. BetCharter from D- to F-, BetMidas F+ to F- and MajorBetting unchanged at D-.
