05/14/03 SBR now believes the Olympic deal to acquire Royal Sports is a done deal - official announcement to be made as soon as database integration issues & other technical/ logistical issues are resolved

2. Botched? sale to Olympic.
3. Infighting between Dutch and American ownership interests.
4. Lawsuit.
5. One-day bonus offers for sign up at one of your competitors. Cash shortage?
6. Top management leaving (top linesmaker and marketing manager).
No reports of payout problems.
Not a stable atmosphere Jack.
Even if you don't believe what is floating around about Royal, it is hard to understand why you would ignore it completely.

All that I have listed is hearsay as far as I know. That is why I posted here for Jack and IE. I thought they could give some hard facts to base a decision on. Quite disappointing that you get "what situation?" for an answer when it is very clear that something is going on.
Look around on other sites. The only credible information that I have gotten is from a watch dog site owner that I trust. His recommendation was to keep a low balance.

i'll look into this for more details. the only things i found so far, are what sting says and i take that with a grain of salt.
if you're concerned, take ALL of your money out until the smoke clears. you have many choices out there.

I agree that Sting should be taken with a grain of salt at best but he is not the only one.

Jack, not trying to stir anything up. It seems to me what is going on is more than just rumors and the people of your site should at least be made aware so they can make their own decisions. This is what this forum is for, right? Let me know if it isn't.

i'll see what i can come up with. i used to be tight with marty but he's gone now. scotty should have some clear answers by the end of the week.
there is a deal working with olympic but it hasn't been closed yet and might not. if olympic doesn't buy them, the dutch will probably keep running the shop without the american management. if the olympic deal goes through, the american management, that have left, will probably regroup and run things for olympic in jamaica.
either way, i'm confident your money is safe.

sorry, i'm away for the weekend. i'll find out tuesday what's going on. i will assume that the olympic deal didn't go through and the dutch will operate and manage the book without american management. scotty the the last american there, i think. remember, i am making an assumption and it's not fact. i'll find out tuesday.
their advertising contract with madjacks expired the end of june. i am leaving their banners up on their word that they will resume for another year. if they pay me what they owe, i HAVE to assume they are operating without any problems and plan to continue as usual. they didn't pay yet because olympic would have paid if the deal went through. they said they would pay me as soon as they found out what course they were taking. i will find out something next week.
