You know..........I don't lead a real exciting life.....but I still have time to miss this show. I could care less who wins but I have heard that the show is quite the hit, yet I am sure I will still find time to do other things. So my vote is for the Cubs to win the World Series.:)
FDC

p.s. Things must be real slow in 'Bama, huh Freak? Well maybe they will come up with a flag you can hang from the window of your truck of Ruben wrapped in nothing but the confederate flag. :D :D ......."Rube, Ruben, Ruben" you kill me dude.

ajoytoy,

The odds I posted at the top of the thread still stand at Olympic. But since you got Clay at 5:2 you might as well stick with that. I personally thought that Ruben showed he was the man in the first half of the finals. Would be happy whether he or Clay wins.

i wa thing of middling a bet with ruben +110, but then i thought....this aint a sports game...started laughing at myself...

either way im making $$ with the male winner pick

thx for the info gecko

I'm down with Ruben! He only lives a short piece from me down in Birmingham and let me tell you he is a good young man in many senses! He has been in the news here more than Mike Price.........but for good reasons! That 205 thingy he is sportin on his shirts is just the area code that the Ham carries! It's quite a catch around Bama! RUBEN RUBEN RUBEN will be what I am hollerin! :D

its been pretty crazy here in Raleigh too...last friday was offically named Clay Aiken day!!

he's been all around doing openings...sang the star spangled banner at baseball games and been at the local malls raising money for his 2 charities

pretty amazing

I see this as a system play.

Justin (from the first show) was in the "bottom two" during one show last season. He finished second overall.

Ruben (this season) has also been in the "bottom two" before.

Niether Clay (this season) nor Kelly (first winner) spent time in the "bottom two".

Smart money is on Clay. Since I also have represented the 205 in my life (lived in B'ham for 24 years), I am cheering for Ruben.

As I learn more about these Kids. And I did at first think a tie would be ok. Well now I see how much work Clay has done for younger children at his YMCA. And for those with diminished mental capacities. He just got my vote.

Not watching the show yet (since I'm not EST), but I agree that Clay's got a good heart--especially towards the handicapped/special ed/kids. A good role model for sure. Last night I thought he gave an excellent effort throughout, though his version of the McCartney song could've been better. Most of all, he looked the part. IMO he edged out Ruben, as the big man didn't seem to get going til the final song. we'll see.....

24 million votes....and they're only seperated by 13,000

Thats a friggin tie!

Winner got 50.28 percent

Loser got 49.72

Thats just amazing

With those kind of numbers it doenst matter much who wins......they both will probably get the same contracts and everything.
