Big game this weekend for Ga and Florida. Dawgs by 2.5 with a few on the injured list. This is going to be a great game. Have to side with Dawgs but definately biased:thefinger . I'd like to hear what you guys think about the game this sat. It's a night game and it's gonna be rowdy.

Dawgs 21
Gators 17:Yep:

Robbie, I agree with you on this game. I thought the spread was going to be around 5 or 6 for this game. I think it will move up as the week goes on and probably will be around 4 by Sat. The public will be on Ga.

We're not biased!:p

The one thing that has made this GA team win close games where some of them they shouldn't have is the team concept that starts with Richt and trickles down. I don't feel that the injuries that we have will keep us from dominating this game. If there were no injuries on our side of the ball, this line would be much higher (at least over the key number 3). Georgia's key is not on offense anyway. The D line must get to Grossman early and often. I think we will see a multitude of blitzes coming from all positions. This is Florida's weakness this year, and if their O line does not play the game of their year, Grossman will be in trouble.

Trying to put all heart-strings aside, I really like Georgia to cover this number with ease. I see more than a touchdown victory here.

Good luck and Go Dawgs!

I like your call Robbie. Florida is due for a big win but it won't come this weekend. Dogs are on fire and are siked up to beat the Gators.

Good luck.

What do you think about Wed. and Thurs. night game?

Good to see so many Dawg fans in here. Don't shy away Florida guys, we need your input too on this game. I surely don't see a blowout (hope it is) but regaurdless, feel this one ends with a
GA-W. Albert as for the other two games, no play on So. Miss/ TCU- haven't followed them this year. But I do like Co. St. -1. The Rams have been looking tough this year and I think airforces offense is gonna loose steam towards the end of the third quarter.
Good luck guys and
GO MF'N DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!:spotting:

I think Georgia is the sleeper in the whole BCS thing. They aren't that far behind ND and ND still has Rutgers and Navy which wreck their strength of schedule. They need a little help but stranger things have happened.

The Georgia Bulldogs are going to kick tail.

When I took Alabama to beat the dogs several weeks ago, and the Bulldogs go in there and take the alabama boys down.

I said to myself, there will be no more doubting the dogs.

Would it be possible to see Notre Dame vs Dogs for National Championship ?

Possible but Miami and Oklahoma would definitely have to lose, and if ND or Georgia lose once, Miami and OU would probably need two losses. If Va Tech beats Miami and wins out they still are in the picture. Unless they get a lot of help, I don't think Ohio State has a chance.

The dogs will win by at least 7 in this game. Georgia may have some injuries but Zook just isn't the right coach for Fla. The schemes he uses just haven't taken hold. The line will jump to about -5 by gametime at least. Get on this line today before it gets over the crucial -3 level. Oh yeah, to Scott-Atlanta miami has V TECH, and Oklahoma has Texas A&M and the big12 championship game left on their schedule.

good luck

georgia -2.5 (2 units)

Dellmont, in reguards to Zook, I thought this was a good quote from Orlando Sentinel columnist Mike Bianchi on hiring Zook, "the worst personnel move since Shemp replaced Curly in The Three Stooges". The injury list for the Dawgs is disheartening with Damien Gary out for the season, Musa with a broken thumb but still playing, Jon Stinchcomb with torn cartilage in his knee expected to play, and Gibson with torn ligaments in his thumb. I read that Gibson is being fit with a cast today and will start catching some passes off of the mechine to see how it feels because he wants to play against Fla. The Dawgs are ready even though wounded to beat the Gators this weekend and I think that you are right, Del, in saying get this game before it jumps.

GL guys!

Do you think Florida has a chance?:nono:

I like Georgia here.

There is no home field advantage since place is split 50-50. UGA just seems like a team on a roll. I think they take it to the Gators. UF does not look like they know what to do on offense.

Of course I too will be pulling for the Dawgs whether I bet on it or not. Hope you guys go undefeated. Also hope Bama continues the winning ways and we can help you with your SOS and quality win points in the BCS. :D

For all Bama has gone thru and with almost all the players not jumping ship , it says alot about the spirit of the team and the courage to continue.

good luck to the roll tiders also.

my book has the GA at -1.5 im on dawgs for 2 units. From listnening to the radio today I dont really think we will see much of Fred Gibson this weekend, but Musa should be able to start. I also heard that GA was using DJ Shockley as a wide out and in the backfield.....FWIW

There is another team that is coming together in Alabama as well. Auburn is a much improved team with Jason Campbell (if tubby) leaves him in as qb.... He adds another dimension to the offense. Brown as Rb is coming into his own as well as the young offensive line. I jumped on Auburn - 2 1/2 against Ole Miss. We have ul Monroe after that game, and then the Do or die games with Georgia at home , followed by the Iron bowl. Gl

Bama,

Yes, Alltel is 50-50 UF/UGA. But it will be a home field advantage for the Gators. You see, it is a night game and the fans will have been drinking all day long by kick off. :drinky: Those dawg fans have a lower tolerance than the Gator fans so the dawg fans will be asleep by game time :D

I believe that like I believe florida fans won't be wearing
jean shorts and tank tops to the game. :thefinger

Sic em Dawgs...make them stain their jean shorts!!!!moon1

Dawgs are gonna come up big this weekend. I haven't heard an update about Gibson's new cast and whether or not he is catching with it. I see a few Gator turnovers with grossman's impatient offense. Zook will want this one bad and it will be interesting to see how he makes play calls.

When I wanted Gator opinions, I was looking for football related topics but I guess drinking is a sport to some. djchad:drinky: am I wrong in saying that your "vegas vs. predicted" method has the Dawgs as a Two Star. :nono: I understand your loyalty but if you want to win some $$$, lay it on the dogs while the line is still low.

GL all and FK'm up Dawgs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:Yep:

I'm proud to say that I do not own a single pair of jean shorts ;)

Florida has beaten the dawgs 11 of the last 12 years. Not a single player on this year's Florida squad has lost to UGA. Ever. This is a rivalry that goes waaaay back. Before there was UF/FSU, there was UF/UGA. Spurrier always made sure his players knew the significance of this game - can Zook do the same? If Zook hypes this game to the players as their game of the year, and they come through, then we have an upset on our hands.

Florida has played one good game this year. The win @ UT. Georgia has played two good games year. Two close games vs UT and Bama. Now that UT doesn't look so hot, neither do those wins. Neither team has stepped up and handed it to a good team this year. Therefore, neither team can say "we are going to come through in a big way" or "we are going to blow them out". It hasn't been done yet, and I don't think it will. This game will be close. The injuries to UGA help even the field a bit. Do I think Florida can win? Yes. Do I think UGA can win? Yes. Too close to call IMO. And I wouldn't care if my system rated the game as a 3-star - I am not touching this game.

Another side item here: I haven't seen any comments made by the UGA players regarding this game. If they aren;t talking, I think that is a good move by Richt. Let the action on the field speak for itself. Of course, the Gator players have already been running their mouths.

------

"The Gators are feeling and sounding confident. Supremely confident. One player, junior offensive guard Shannon Snell, went so far as to predict a Florida victory during the team's weekly media day Tuesday.

"We're going to win," Snell said. "I'm fully confident we are. I just think this team is ready to put the pedal to the metal. I really think Georgia is underestimating us.

"This may be bulletin board material for them. but that's fine. Whatever they want to do with it. I really think our guys are ready to show everybody that Georgia isn't going to beat us this year, just like when they were predicted to beat us the last two years and didn't. We're not taking (stuff) off of anybody now."

"It can only help us that we're underdogs," quarterback Rex Grossman said. "That and winning 11 of the last 12 and especially after winning last year's game. It's going to give us confidence going into the game. A lot of the same players are playing in the game. We can take care of business because we've done it before.

"They're going to be a little anxious to beat us because they haven't beaten us in a long time. I don't know if that helps us or hurts us. We have all the motivation in the world from the troubles we've had this season. This is an opportunity to help us get back on the right track."

"I wouldn't want them to come out on the field unless they thought they could win," Snell said. "If they have any doubts in their heads, don't even come out on the field.

"If we kick your butts, we don't want any excuses. We're going to beat you regardless what you think or what everybody else thinks."
