What qualifies as a rushing dog? I'm looking at Duke and they are 108th in the nation in rush yards per game.
An underdog who outrushes their opponent will cover the spread more or less 66.67% of the time.
Back to IU/Duke. I had my stats wrong above, but Duke ranks 61st and IU 32nd in total rushing yards this season. What's your basis for assuming Duke will out rush IU?

I'll make one last attempt to ask what the criteria is to qualify as a rushing dog?
Do you fade poor rush defenses?
I'm assuming this is the case with Duke as they allow 143 yds/gm on the ground compared to IU's 180/gm.
Offensively, IU averages 204 rushing yds/gm compared to Duke's 178.
Whatever it is, I'd love to know the formula that produces 66.67% winners. We've had Toledo and GA S. win outright so I'll be tracking the ML angle as well.
