Personally, this is my favorite sporting event with the World Cup being second.

I would absolutely love to see Kim faced against Sergio.

I think that the US team's personality on this team is going to weigh in moreso than most people are giving credit for. The US is going to win.

Random thought from anyone else?

The media in the states is trying to play up this team. I don't get it. Holmes has shown in the past to struggle with nerves. The Euro comes into the event playing a lot stronger golf. Then factor in Phil and Furyks struggles in the Ryder Cup.. I just don't see how they can pull it off.

I think Kim will be strong, but I also don't think he wiill be lights out like everyone has been predicting. I would love to see Kim play Sergio as well.. especially since I backed the Euros. :SIB

Watch out for Kenny Perry he knows this course well, has practiced there for two weeks, has a second place PGA Championship finish there and has been gunning for this very thing all year, plus he is a native kentuckian, should do well here.

Outside of the bunker shot on 18, Mickelson and Kim were a fantastic team in the morning round. For the European side to be up like that and hitting some key putts, a halve is a great outcome.

Hunter Mahan should play every round, imo. He will be a force all weekend.

Damn, I love this event!

Hoping my local will put up some lines for this. I'm gonna back Mickelson/Kim again. Padraig didn't exactly look great on that back 9 outside of his putting. He was getting a lot of attention at the turn by the trainer for his neck. Throw in Mcdowell making his Ryder Cup debut, i'll take anything under -180.

Looks like Kenny Perry cost his team a full point. Misses a shorty on the 17th and shanks his tee shot into the water on 18.

Exactly bud.. Awful shaped hole for his ball flight. I dont think he missed that drive by that much.

It is a pretty hazard over there.

I like Stricker/Curtis team. Very under-rated and a good team to bet on. I look for them to roll.

Harrington is a fking sicko.

Perry needs to sit this afternoon he puked on himself.

If the matches come down to 18 I think it bodes well for the U.S.

Faldo looked nervous as hell.

Will the Euro's rally?

Good stuff Agent. Yea Curtis is underrated, will be interesting to see Weekly and JB.

The Bourbon will be working its magic as the day goes on.
I also think if you bet to halve matches at +520 for each match you are almost guaranteed a profit.
