What's up boss?

Bit my lip while eating last week. Real bad. Twice during the same meal. Pizza. Next day and all week, keep biting the same spot. I guess because it's swollen or can it be a sudden bite problem. Question is; do I see my dentist about this? How can the dentist tell if it's a bite problem? Chewing without food in there is no problem.

I've been through this before as many of us have but it's never lasted a week for me and I can't eat without biting it unless I eat small bites and chew slowly. Hell, even then I bite it but not as hard.

I've had this problem a few times on the inside of my cheek... use a sterilizing mouthwash like Listerine a few times a day to promote healing until it's gone. Prob already a jug on your side of the glory hole:0008

Maybe its just that I am an old dumb sucker from the south,,BUT,,,,Why or what else would you be chewing in your mouth except food? Maybe tobacco but this has me curious?:toast::lol:

For a dentist to see if it's a bite problem. He surely can't see how I'm biting if I have food in my mouth. They get you to 'tap-tap-tap' on that paper shit.

On the course!
It's not a bite problem, or you would do it almost every time you chew.

I've done this more times than I can count over my years. Most of the time, it happens in my sleep, but since it is swollen, I will bite it a few times while I eat, until it goes away.

I would wait a week or so, and it should be fine.
