Oh man. ........the internal struggle I go through to not go with a swelling versus flaccid joke here. ........just sayin. .......Pretty sure it's the swelling, I'll get it time to heal. :0008

It's not a bite problem, or you would do it almost every time you chew.
I've done this more times than I can count over my years.
Bit my lip while eating last week. Real bad. Twice during the same meal. Pizza. Next day and all week, keep biting the same spot. I guess because it's swollen or can it be a sudden bite problem. Question is; do I see my dentist about this? How can the dentist tell if it's a bite problem? Chewing without food in there is no problem.
I've been through this before as many of us have but it's never lasted a week for me and I can't eat without biting it unless I eat small bites and chew slowly. Hell, even then I bite it but not as hard.
lol jack google the term "glory hole" .....

I'd avoid citrus.
:0008Sorry for the late reply. I'm at snowshoe in WV and they have zerp cell service. I had no idea a "National Radio Quiet Zone" existed but there is no wifi here.

Anyway- no need to go in. You are probably just catching it more frequently because it's swollen. Salt water rinse- if it was really bad your dentist can Rx a topical steroid. If will go down soon, I'd avoid citrus.
