and, another crazy thing is...

here at MJ's, the trolling is minimal.... Jack or IE nip it in the bud (great!).

but I look at "blankets" sports site (which has gotten sooo filled w/pop-up ads, etc... is AWFUL)... and there's trolls all over the place.

You'd get soo much attention at that place, you'd HATE it!
"No way you can make that many plays... you're BS dude!" blah blah blah...

I've seen it drive guys away after they get hot for a few days... it's cray cray!!

Madjack's is the best of em.... but we've dwindled over the last 5-10 yrs.

Hope the quality can remain!

It is obvious the amount of time it takes to post as you do and I myself was pretty disappointed in the minimal attention that you recieved. Personally I just started checking your plays two weeks ago. I have made positive comments daily to show my appreication except for the one that I fucked up in reading that it was a 2nd half play........Either way, I am greatly disappointed that you will no longer be posting. First of all because there haven't been many to throw positive vibes in yor direction and secondly, purely for selfish reasons as my job doesn't allow me the time to handicap that it takes to be even 1/4 as successful as you are.

Thanks for the time and effort that you shared in the past and I wish you a very Prosperous & Happy New Year!

i for one would be disappointed to see you leave. i do not post much but read your plays and are amazed at the time you put in and you are an excellent capper. hope you will reconsider

Shame on me, I read your posts all the time, use your plays, and Realize that I'm totally one of those "bottom feeders" you refer to, in fact, for about 20 years. My work and family only allow me so much time for game research. I apologize to not only you but all of the contributors at the site for not at least tossing in a few more thanks , I certainly had time for that. I would hate to see you go. ( Fwiw, in 9 months I'm retiring and moving to Tahoe area, where I will finally have some extra time to learn a bit about how to handicap a game myself and hopefully offer some contributions other than last minute San Diego sports news updates.).
You are right, many of us owed you the feedback, sorry that this has come so late.

I also echo the comments above. I look for Tournements lays among all others, compare to my efforts and always make sure I am not opposite especially of the 10u and 9u plays. You do awesome work and it is both recognized and appreciated in my camp and by the few I know who participate.

Please consider staying and I would love to share banter, thoughts, with bout etc. I had just assumed previously you would not be interested in chit-chat and feedback. I hope you stay and would love to have you ramain a part of my and the others in here for the right reasons arsenal.

understand the time and consumption you put in here..its hard capping,then playing them and then posting them...and then you someone like me who is telling stories on top of that..trying to keep up with my records took so much time going back on how I did the night before...thank god Old south has tried to keep up with me..but its hard and if by some chance you make a mistake someone will let you know...and I want that though...I forget to post a play..yesterday I played South Dak St again -17..forgot to post it but I want some boxes back,, I;m 0-2 in in last 2 game with them..but they won and covered...your posts are appreciated and we all respect the time you put in...but your in Tahoe..damn..that's to close to a casino for me...lol MJ's is a great place...almost everybody is respectful and kind...think IE and MJ do a good job policing this place..
No one here has a beach resort in the Caymons due to sports gambling...when 55% is a passing grade we are really in the wrong field...
did I mention what a good time I had yesterday in San Antonio..lol your work here is appreciated...

Hey Guys,

Wow what a nice response by so many of you... I'm feeling a bit giddy from reading the various comments posted in here.... It really made my day, well that and the fact that I just won my largest wager of the year on the Over in the New England game and a large wager on St Pete's......
I didn't want to respond to your great words as I'm a very superstitious gambler (as are many of my fellow friends at Cal Neva)..... You know it's a good day when they break out the IRS papers... 😂.......

You guys rock and I had a chance to shoot the shit with my Uncle (taught me everything I know about sports gambling) and has a stellar rep in Reno, Tahoe and Vegas.... He asked me to reconsider maybe only posting my top picks..... *He used to be a part of Madjacks and quit posting about 12 years ago...... He said he had a lot of the same feelings that I've shared and quit posting because he developed Cancer and went through a year where he almost didn't make it but our Creator wasn't ready to take him to the big Sportsbook in the sky (where I hope to meet a few of you guys someday).........I know he always liked it here and he's really the one that asked that I start up at MJs (he said he never got a lot of feedback but knew if he could help put a few dollars in a few people over at MJs that it always made him feel like he was giving something back.

He did say that he was touched by Jack sending him a email to see if everything was OK but decided he needed to focus on his illness at the time..... He has some great stories about the old days in Reno..... I've asked him to come back and post but he says he really doesn't want to start that again (I get it).

Anyway, thank you guys (Keyser Soze, Jamulboy, Joeco, Sportz333, LordofBalls (remember you well from last year and appreciate your thanks), Box, and of course Musca and Hawk who I have alot of respect for and their handicapping in the College Football Forum) and anyone else I forgot or who has come in and offered insight or thanks.
