15-25-3 (-7.225 units)

((Risking 25 units to win 5 units))

********** TULSA MoneyLine (-500) *********

5 REASONS FOR THIS PICK:

1) Motivation: This game is for the top spot in the WAC, Tulsa will bring it to Hawaii.
2) Revenge: Hawaii beat Tulsa in Tulsa in the tourney last year sending them to the NIT. They won't take Hawaii for granted.
3) Homecourt: This game is in Tulsa, and Hawaii is not nearly as good on the road as they are at home. Hawaii recently went to and loss to San Jose st, one of the worse teams in the WAC. Hawaii would have a hard time beating Tulsa in Hawaii, I don't see Hawaii winning at Tulsa.
4) Rebounding: Tulsa will dominate Hawaii on the boards. It will be one shot at the basket for almost every offensive possession for Hawaii, so unless Hawaii can have an amazing shooting percentage, they won't even stay close in this game.
5) Talent: Tulsa top to bottom is much more talented and stronger than Hawaii.

This game could get really ugly, wouldn't be surprised to see a blowout. This would be a good straight bet, but I ain't risking the backdoor like what happened in the Duke game.

I put this in early this morning, I borrowed 2200 and dropping 300 of my own to risk 2500 on this ML play. My goal is to get back to even again and then I will pay back the 22 units and then start playing 1 unit straight bets and stick to money management like most cappers on here.

If by some slim chance in the farthest and darkest regions of our imaginations, we look outside and see pigs flying and Tulsa ends up losing.........I will be done and gone.

But that won't happen cause pigs don't fly :drinky:

I think its risky to bet against Hawaii in this spot. . . I expect a close game. . . not sure if I'm gonna play it, but the Bows are a damn good team this year.

Honestly hello there. . . I can't see you using money management. . . you may think that you can, but its hard to do when you're so used to throwing down huge amounts of money on a single game. I hope that you do, but if you get in a spot like this again, you'll probably try the same thing and try to dig yourself out of your hole on one play.

If Hawaii somehow wins, I hope you're able to compensate your losses to whoever you borrowed money from. . .

I'll be rooting for ya. . .

tough break....but we did warn you about loading up on what seems to be "can't miss" games...anything can happen in one game...that's why you should bet smaller amounts and win over the long haul...we all get the urge to load up on games...you have to be patient and fight the urge...believe me, I feel your pain, but it's hard to feel for you when you consistantly ignore good advice...

Sick dog it is that new swine feed additive, that is the reason I believe you saw that pig fly by your window, it is called PAYLEAN, and creates leaner pork with more muscle, and yes I figure with enough muscle and a long enough runway, well who knows maybe now the pigskin is not the only thing flying?

I am really sorry. I can only hope that you have finally leaned what all these people are trying to say. There is never a sure thing. I wish you well as you work through this.

why do you guys say sorry? I'm not trying to kick someone when they are down but seriously... this isn't the first time this has happened. I have seen this kid from the start when he started in MLB and got buried. This obviously is a problem and needs some help. How many of you would borrow money and then claim it and then shout it out as if you were doing it for entertainment purposes as hello has over and over by saying we all want to see him do it. Sorry to be blunt but to hear people sympathize with someone after being told over and over is something else. Like I said i'm not kicking him when hes down but get with it, people like this is why people label "gambling" as a problem. Get some serious help buddy, take this as what you want... flame me if you feel like I hurt someones feelings but you have a PROBLEM and you should seriously call 1-800-GAMBLER

Teddy KGB,

Your right actually, he was warned, warned and waned again.

I guess when I saw the final score, after Tulsa being up pretty good at the half, I felt a twinge of pity. Years ago when I 1st started betting on sports I went through a time like this and I borrowed a grand for a "sure thing". I was already down 1500! There was no way that Seattle was gonna beat Denver that Monday night 10 years ago. But of course they did. I still get a chill down my spine.

Reading Hello There's fall made me remember the pain I felt when I knew I had screwed up big time! Took me a long time to get straight again, and I didn't bet for years.

10 years wiser, and I've come a long way.

If anyone bets a grand on a game, they better have a 40K bankroll!!

Hello There - Teddy's right!! I wish I had all these great cappers telling me what a fool I was being 10 years ago, it would have saved me alot of anguish!!! Listen to these peolpe they know what they're talking about!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe several years of non betting is what you need too.

Hawaii is flat out a damn good team. . . I wish you well hello there. . . maybe someday you'll learn that money management is the only way to go in this game. Most of us have had to learn that lesson along the way and maybe THIS time you will get it. . . I feel for you and was rooting hard for Tulsa for what its worth. . .

I still felt your decision was wrong in the beginning because you were risking a lot for a very small gain.

hello there-

I know none of what anybody says will help you get over this bad beat. I even had my wife come over to the computer and look at your post. I said who does this remind you of. She kind of laughed and said you 10 years ago. It wasn't so funny then though. After my early 20's of winning and blowing it partying and having to borrow from the bank sometimes. I got real serious about losing when I got married at 25 and had gotten a pretty good back settlement. (Fletcher I know where you are coming from about back pain fused L4-L5-S1). Got caught up in a bad service and chased bets till about $15,000 in the hole. Got rid of the service and proceeded to max out credit cards, friends, and loans. Almost lost my wife and 3 kids. I won $4,000 on a four team parlay and got a money management system that I stuck to and didn't go against one bit. I didn't win all the money back but i did get a good chunk with most of it coming in the last couple years with alot of help from people here. When they give advice take it most likely alot of people here have gone through the growing pains.

With that big long boring story the point I am trying to make is it is not that bad right NOW. Stop chill for a while pay that cash back and build a nice roll and only wager 2 or 3 % at a time. That way in the low times you don't go through it all. Get a system and stick with it and DONT chase bets.

I hope this helps out and be cool

just cover
