It's a great slate of college football for Saturday that is littered with little lines. This is not a surprise considering the fact there is so much on the line and it is, after all, rivalry week.

With that in mind I wanted to take some of the games with small lines and break them down with picks.

12:00 UCOnn vs Cincy : Line is UConn -2
With PItt losing it opens the door for the Huskies to make a run at the title.

Cincinnati showed it?s still dangerous offensively, piling up 650 yards against Rutgers in a 69-38 victory.

The biggest obstacle for UC's defense will be UConn running back Jordan Todman, who leads the league and ranks second nationally in rushing with 145.1 yards per game.

The Bearcats have done well against the run this season, allowing only 111.7 yards per game. They held Oklahoma's Demarco Murray to 67 yards and West Virginia's Noel Devine to 77, but surrendered 209 yards to Louisville's Bilal Powell.

Cincy's offense is clicking right now and they are still trying to cling to bowl eligibility.

Cincy +2

more to come...

3:30 NC St vs Maryland 3:30:Line is NC ST

Maryland is a formidable home team (5-1) but NC St is destined to win this game.

They were projected to finish last in the ACC and played the toughest schedule in the Atlantic.
Wolfpack Russell Wilson is the most underrated signal caller in the country and having a great year.

If the Pack wins Saturday?s game, slated to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. at Maryland?s Byrd Stadium, it will face Coastal Division champion Virginia Tech in the title game. If not, Florida State will go.

The Wolfpack are 21-8-2 ATS in their last 31 games overall and the Wolfpack are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Maryland.

The Pack wins--

North Carolina St -2

12:00 Michigan St at Penn St Line is Spartans -1.5

This is a perfect example of a line on a game based on reputation not talent. In the past Joe Pa and the Lions were impossible to beat at home and this game would be close, but not this year.

Michigan State needs a victory to hang onto its piece of a title it shares with two teams expected to win handily today: Ohio State and Wisconsin.

They may not get the BCS bowl bid but they would get a share of the title

There are still players on the team that got trounced in '08. Penn State took one look at Dantonio's team, which was in line to win a share of the Big Ten championship, and all but evicted the Spartans from Happy Valley in a 49-18 romp.

They won't blow them out and may fall behind early but the Spartans win here.

Michigan St -1

since we are getting close to kick-off I will breeze through the rest

Florida St -2 over FloridaHuge rivalry game and the Noles will be excited to send Meyer and the boys backing. The Seminoles are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite of 0.5-3.0 and have not won in six years against the Gators--sweet revenge!

OU +2.5 over Oklahoma St The Big 12 (South) title is on the line in this game and it will be fun to watch the Bedlam. Landry Jones is coming into this own and in a very close game, the points will matter. The Sooners are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a road underdog.

Boston College +3.5 over Syracuse
What can I say, every now and then I can be a homer. :mj07:

Clemson +2.5 over South Carolina The Cocks are going to the SEC Championship game but first have to play a tough rivalry game for in-state bragging rights. You can't help but think this is a perfect let-down game for Spurrier and Co. This is the championship game for Clemson. The Tigers are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games as an underdog.

Arkansas -3.5 over LSU
Big game for both teams and if you have not watched Ryan Mallett and the Hogs offense, check this game out. Les Miles always has a way of keeping games close, but this will be a big win by the Hogs. Once the Hogs get out in front the Tigers will have to go away from Ridley and the ground game and try to play catch up with Jefferson. That's trouble. The Tigers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 meetings and lose today.

Ole Miss +3 over Miss St. Love the home conference dog in a rivalry game if they have some talent. Nutt and Jeremiah Masoli have this team in the right direction, and don't sleep on playmaker Brandon Bolden. A solid back that can pick up some big yardage--Egg Bowl goes to the Rebels. The Rebels are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games as an underdog.

Notre Dame +4 over USC
Two once proud franchises are struggling to say the least. USC has the better athletes, but their defense has been miserable. The Irish have injuries everywhere and this will not have the feel of the usual meeting between these teams.
The defense for the Irish has gotten better and they have momentum. Mitch Mustain gets the first start for the Trojans and they will lose outright at home. The Fighting Irish are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a road underdog.

Enjoy the games guys and I will be back for the halftime Show!
