Why not? Dream big. Not like they have to leap over Spain to get into top 3.

I'm surprised COncacaf has maintained 3.5 slots. 3.0, or even 2.5, seems more equitable. The Concacaf 3rd team honestly would struggle to beat a Euro wildcard.

I wish this qualifying was not in three groups, reduced to six teams. USA will make it to L6, but they're vulnerable. Canada now in good shape.

I'm now not 100% sure USA will make World Cup.

But let's be real, USA and Mexico are a lock to qualify. I mean it would be a massive massive massive choke if USA does not qualify. With all the resources and cash that USA soccer has, not to mention the massive population it would be almost beyond belief if USA doesn't make it.

I am sure the USA team will make it.
