Still in shock at IU's fate.

How about the 6/11 game of USC vs KSU. Beasley vs Mayo. We could not get Oden vs Durant last year, but we'll get a showcase here.

I think a bigger joke was Wisky getting a 3... I guess being 29-4, winning a power conference regular season, winning it's tournament, beating Texas on the road wasn't enough for a #2 :mj07:

It's not like they had bad losses - 2 to Purdue (a tourney team) to Marquette (a #6 seed) and Duke on the road ( a #2 seed).

Bucky got screwed.... and their #3 draw was very difficult.. a #2 would have been much better.

They deserved a #2 IMHO...

Agreed they deserve a #2. Still, I like wisc to reach the elite 8.

First, just wanted to say I was shocked about IU's seeding, but not complaining about what happened. They wheezed down the stretch and paid for it. It just was a huge jolt to see their name so quickly, in a 8/9 game with UNC opposite them. I expected a sweet 16 and take our chances in the second weekend. Now we have to get by an equal from a power conference and spring a huge upset just to get out of the first round. We'll see what happens, I guess.

And, I agree about Wisco. Note sure why they were not a #2. Thought the Big 10 overall hurt themselves with a poor perforance this weekend.

Hoosiers have quite an argument for a 5-6 seed. in fact, Uconn is a #4, and I feel Indy has just as strong of a resume (aside from the head to head loss). Sure, Indy ended the season with consecutive losses, but prior to they have several quality wins, and their losses came to Wisky twice, @ Mich St, UConn(who were on a roll if I recall correctly) and @ Xavier.

Doesn't it seem like the selection commitee is punishing Indy for the Sampson violations? Ridiculous if you ask me..... Indy was hosed.

The Hoosiers may have been hosed when you look at the big picture but current form suggests that their seeding is not too far out of line. In fact, I would not be surprised to see Arkansas to be favored and beat them. Another 8/9 matchup I really like is Kent to defeat UNLV.
