The Buckeyes are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and they'll host the Badgers today in a key matchup for both teams. OSU has traded wins for losses the past six games, and comes off a bad loss on the road at Michigan last week by 10 laying five. They rely on their defense to win games, ranked 5th in the nation in field goal percentage defense. Wisconsin, meanwhile, has won three in a row and six of seven including four straight on the road. Their offense, however, leaves something to be desired, ranked 180th in the nation. Up against it today in Columbus, they'll fall short and the Buckeyes will win by double digits as they pull away at the end.
Auburn is 6-2 ATS their last eight host the Tide, and they'll do so once again today. The Tigers come off a 89-70 loss to the future #1 team in the land, Tennessee, but are 25-9-1 ATS in their last 35 games following a ATS loss. Quan Prowell leads the way with 14.7 ppg, and had 22 in the blowout loss to the Tide on the road earlier this year. They lost that game 97-77, and are looking for revenge today. As for the Tide, they have lost four of six SU and ATS since that win over Auburn, and stand no chance today on the road. Auburn by 10.
Virginia has lost seven in a row and then made that losing streak disappear with a 79-74 win over BC this past week at home. They have not met the Wolfpack since last year's conference tourney where they lost by eight. Speaking of the Wolfpack, they have lost four in a row SU and ATS and are just 4-17-1 ATS in their last 22 games overall. They have covered one of six on the road, and have not covered in their last five as an underdog. Sean Singletary is an amazing point guard, and he'll lead his Cavs to victory today at home by eight.
Stanford is 7-1 ATS their last eight against Cal, and host the Bears today at Maples Pavilion. The Cardinal are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. This includes a 82-77 win at Cal back in late January, a game where Brook Lopez shot 7-of-11 from the field and had 22 points in the win. The Cardinal are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a home favorite of 7.0-12.5, while the Bears are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning record. Take Stanford today and watch them win by 18.
The Magic are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite of 5.0-10.5 as they lay seven at home today against the Kings. Orlando is coming off a tidy 16 point win against the Sixers Friday night, and it was Hedo Turkoglu who went bonkers. He had 31 points including seven threes in the win. Howard, the star of the team, had 24 and 18, another ho-hum game for him. The last time these two teams played, it was the Kings who blew out the Magic through the first three quarters only to see Orlando stage an improbable rally that came up short. Today, the Magic demolish the Kings at home by 20.
