Yes. And if you're honest with yourself, you would agree. When everyone around you is under water and you keep your head above water, you're doing a good job.

Biden beat the inflation numbers thrown his way. Kept unemployment low. GDP was better than expected. He also kept us out of a predicted recession. In fact, economists predicted if Trump just sat on his ass, he would continue moving the economy in the right direction.

Now, to be fair, we are still in a "wait and see" phase for this presidency, so that's exactly what we'll do. But, for people to act like they stood in bread lines and unemployment lines during the last four years is a joke.

The economy under Biden was not fine.....it was very good.

In addition to the comments above, manufacturing jobs were being brought back to the US thanks to the CHIPs Act. Along with the jobs, we get US made semiconductor chips that helps protect us from China. The Infrastructure Bill will being employing thousands of people over the next 10 years while it pays to rebuild/upgrade a neglected infrastructure. Wages were increasing faster than inflation.

The US economy recovered faster from the global inflation spike than any other western country. Economists were predicting a recession the entire time Biden was in office but it never happened, thanks to investments and policies like the ones I mentioned above.

Also: the last two year return on the stock market was better than any other 2 year run since the 90s.

the only people who disagree are those who get their news solely from right wing sources.

you'd be hard pressed to find any reasonable metric that indicates the economy wasn't very good the last 4 years.

in addition to what these guys already said, the US had record oil & gas production. oddly, fox news probably never mentioned that.

how did your 401(k) do the last 4 years?

one major reason the economy was doing so well... biden's decisions were not driven by retribution. if anything, most of his moves actually helped red states more than blue states. because red states needed the most help. what a concept.
