prospector--

Not exactly the same, but I will try this one. Will give you my report on it. My report will probably not be the same as the one you copied up above about scotch, but I 'll let you know if I got a buzz or not.:p

There was a table of 8 that came in the other night and spent $1100 on wine during dinner. Their bill was $1800 and they tipped the girl $1300. I could not f#@$ing believe it. I will never throw money away like that no matter how rich I am.

dawg,

If you are entertaining a customer of potential customers this is par for the course. I have been involved in "entertainment" that included dinner and a night on the town for one potential customer. At the end of the day the total bill was roughly 7K (the customer loved lap dances) it's an expense of doing biz. We closed an initial deal for $500K and have roughly gotten about $400K a year from them since then. That was two years ago and I still hear "You guys really know how to show somebody a good time". When it's on an expense account cost doesn't matter, unless you have nothing to show for it....then it can get a bit sticky:eek:

Actually, this guy is some trust fund baby (not that I am knocking that) and it just doesn't matter to him. I've dropped my share of dollars on potential customers, but the tip is what floored me. The night was over, and the service was complete (I work at a fine dining restaraunt) and for the guy to tip over 70% took me by surprise.

But hopefully he'll come back in and I will get his table this time. I don't have as much cleavage as she does, though.
