I'll be routing for you, but I can't play it.

In Germany this morning I do not see Mainz losing at home to Leverkusen. Mainz is a strong home team and Leverkusen has not been in good form and have Champions League coming up. I will take the +.5. Its a little juicy at -150 but I think its the right play.

If that game hits, I will take some of the winnings and play Wolfsburg. I know, they have not been kind to me this year, but this is more of a play against Bremen who is likely the worst team in the league. They will fight at home, but they don't have the talent on the field and I expect a Wolfsburg (-110) win.

I will be on the over in the Chelsea/Arsenal game.

Still a little irritated over the Mainz game. Up 2-1 in the second half and then totally collapsed. Mainz was horrible last 10 minutes, turning it over non-stop. Lost on just about final play of the game on Chicharito hat trick in 91st. Thats soccer, but it still pissed me off.

Two worst teams in Italy play today, Atalanta and Crotone. For some reason Atalanta is -105 and Crotone is +340. I'll bite and take the home team +340 (or you an take +.5 Ev) for some action. If they can't win this game, they may not win all season!!

For those that need some more action, I will likely play the draws in Premier League (Burnley/Watford) and Bundesliga 2 (St. Pauli/Union Berlin) hoping to at least go 1-1. Should play the over in England as its hitting at a ridiculous pace right now, but will stick with the draw.

These are all just small plays for some action on a boring Monday afternoon!!

I like a lot in the Champions League today, which is a problem since the Champions League has not been very kind to me over time (with the exception of last round). Not playing anything large today, going to stick with regular size plays.

I am sticking with Dortmund pick that I referenced over the weekend. Their history in big games is not very good but I am not a believer in Real on the road and think Dortmund will come to play today. It is their first home Champions League game in a while and under their new coach. They have been scoring at a tremendous pace lately. The price has come down from +150 to +135. I will take the plus money and also back it with the over 3 -115.

I do not believe Tottenham will get the win in Moscow. This line scares me a bit since I am not sure why Moscow is +200 at home. They are the best team in Russia right now and difficult to beat at home. I do not see them losing so will take the Pk+115.

I almost always back Sevilla at home in Champions or Euro, so will stick with them at -140. Expect a typical 1-0 win.

Lisbon should easily take care of Warszawa at home. I will lay the -1.5 -140.

Finally, Leicester has one of their biggest home games ever and a chance to start off with 6 points to lead the group. I expect a great effort from them, but they continue to have defensive problems and I do not see them keeping Porto off the scoreboard. I expect them to score also so I will take the over 2.5 Ev here.

More plays than I prefer, so will tread lightly and play everything for same amount and see how we do.

btw my girls are 8-3-1 overall on the season and 4-2 in conference. Had a fantastic game last night 0-0 game through double OT but extremely well played on both ends. very proud of our effort. Both keepers made unreal saves to keep the game scoreless.. easy practice tonight as the 3rd ranked team in the state comes to our field for a prime time kickoff.. were probably a 3 goal dog, were extremely good but this squad tomorrow has about 5-6 D1 players on it plus a great supporting cast. Their team is very very fast, physical and big. Will be a good test for us a its a team in our classification who we may meet in district or state playoffs

I'm going to throw a little on Schalke -130. There is tremendous pressure on them given their 0-5 start in the Bundesliga. Taking a chance they get it together today. Schalke is a big German club so they are getting hammered in the German press. Appears to be a must win game for them to satisfy the fans and their Board, so I am willing to take the chance they get it together today since they have to win this weekend at home against Gladbach.

Tempted to bet against Inter Milan on the road but need to do a little research on Praha.
