Huge showdown tomorrow at home for conference title and possibly number 1 overall seed in district playoffs. Their the Defending conference and district champs and lost in state semis.. First game away tied 0-0 , only game we haven?t won

Fucking criminal what happened tonight.: we?re up 1-0 dominated the first 60 mins pinging the ball around.. and their girl elbows our girl blatantly in the face puts a whole in aHer lip, cause it was her lip they couldn?t stop the bleeding with glue.. she needs stitches.. 2 mins later they score to tie the game.: and they won with 2 mins left 2-1
The ref told us because our girl fouled her first the elbow was inconsequential 😡😡steaming Then walking off the field at the end of the game two of their girls ran up to one of our girls started clapping in her face screaming yeah?.. just wait until we see that team again or whoever else we play. Soccer seating committee will set up the seeds on Wednesday with the matchups and we?ll go from there are Marc towards 3 districtS and states.. I think I?m going to send that video of that elbow into the district office

Just got update from Hospital , that elbow cause 5 stitches and 2 loose teeth. It happened On right winG her girl facing her own net our girl behind herX our girl wrapped her up with arms around her sure it?s a foul.. imagine the force she had to use to caulk her elbow from in front in a backwards motion to cause that damage and put a hole in her lip. Then I found out the same girl who threw the elbow is one of the two girls who came to our girl walking to her bench after the gsme to clap in her face and scream ?yea? multiple times. Like we?re so in your head that you just won the conference championship and still need to seek us out to taunt us walking to our bench.. they could?ve celebrated anyway they want with their team running around the field throwing water up in the air jumping up and down.. they won the conference.. we?re still the better team and I?ll go to my grave saying that.. but they won so celebrate but i have No respect for how the conducted themselves as ?champions?

It was A packed house this live broadcast video is not the best it?s all about the parent who?s Filming and how good their device is. Our HUDL video for home Matches is normal and high quality .. but our goal came around 17:55.. the way they acted and celebrated reminded me of Lendale White stomping on the terrible towel in 08 after regular

The pathetic part is that the referee was standing right there. Hell, when I was in high school that ref would have been attacked by the parents.
The girls running up to the player after the game is just a sign that the other team has no class and is certainly reflective of their coach and I would let him or her know it.
Sorry all this happened, but you can not have a better coaching and teaching moment as well as a motivational tool for the playoffs. Put your anger aside and get the girls to use theirs to turn it up a notch. Nobody will remember the conference if you win State!!!
My Dad coached a girls high school basketball team that lost heated county championship matches two years in a row to the same team, but then beat them twice in the playoffs and went on to win the state championship both years. No one remembers the county games, only that they won state.

We have a picture perfect video quality from our camera that films every game (not the live broadcast) it clearly Shows The cooking of the elbow and thrusting it into our girls face. Our AD has our backs . There?s no place for that kind of shit in soccer or any sport

Brackets our out! It?s funny how things work out, us losing on Monday helped us and hurt the other team as far as bracket goes. We got the 5 seed, the 4 seed is weak and the 1 seed , although a traditional power and undefeated this year they seeded on reputation also. They played in a terrible terrible conference. When I say terrible i mesn Terrible if this was college hoops their RPI would be lowwww.. we have no excuses to no be in the district final. The team that beat us and the other best team got the 2 and 3 seed opposite side of us.. it?s funny how things work out and maybe this was karma for how they acted the other night as we got rewarded. To say I?m pumped about our draw is an absolute understatement .

Welp. Of course with it being 2020 it?s never going to be easy or smooth. Got home from practice an hour ago and we got an email that our district is shutdown through Sunday . Couple Covid cases possible .. if nothing else we can have one day on Monday to practice for Tuesday.. if not Covid will be the one thing that stops us. We need to keep our fingers crossed that Sunday night we get an email saying we?re good to go Monday.. prayers and positive thoughts. Will be absolutely heartbreaking if we had to forfiet and season ended the girls would be inconsolable . It?s tough no ones ever been through this.
Going to brainstorm with staff on virtual stuff , some mental
Stuff to keep them positive.. anyone have any ideas for virtual training stuff ? Since this is something i and No one has been through I?m open to any ideas people may have to keep them focused . Don?t want them being down and devastated . Especially since it?s not confirmed we are forfeiting . Want them positive I?m hopes when we get back Monday our focus is sharp

So you are not allowed to practice at all? I would suggest playing the boys team.
I would do a group event or two to keep them occupied. At this time of year, the fitness and technical stuff is already done. Need to keep their minds off focusing on the season getting canceled and keep them off social media. At least do events that coincide with practice time to keep them together but loose and focused. Get parents involved, they are always willing to shell out a few bucks. Do meals together or go bowling or something like that. My Dad used to do Italian dinners for them all the time and they loved it. Would set up games for them after dinner. I know it is a different time, but keeping them together and loose it the key.

Yea the whole school is shutdown and all athletics are shutdown through Sunday as of
Now, so nothing practice wise in person. Completely agree about keeping them loose and together as that is the key with current circumstances. Also, we always tell them, don?t worry about things you can?t control and this we can?t control. But we can control how we react to it

Lots of teams around here have been doing team hikes if that is available in the woods as well as team fishing. We found someone that had a private pond and had a fishing derby. I am in the South so this is readily available.
