Game day!! First game at our Labor Day tournament against a playoff team a classification higher.. will be a good test, been so excited to get today here! 10 am kick
On a sidenote our freshman who got hurt is allowed to come back to training but she won?t be playing in this weekends games but she can start practice next week and go from there!
Today?s line- after seeing some local results last night for the first day of games great smaller schools still struggling with bigger schools..

Thanks B.. tough one today I thought it was a very evenly matched game but lost 1-0.. they had one Real opportunity on the counter attack from a mistake we made that left us open to attack.. we lost our left back and center back in the first half minor knocks nothing big but no reason to push it this early in the year.. team we played today were a big strong and physical they?re outside right back apparently is in nationals for 100 m along with playing soccer so all in all fantastic test for us and it did just what we want it to show us some vulnerabilities we may have and give us some adversity. Our scheduling philosophy for this tournament has always been the schedule tough.. we?ll play a quad a team tomorrow two classifications higher than us.. I just got done watching the other girls game , tomorrow?s line

Thanks buddy, truly appreciate the sentiments.. I know I probably annoy a lot of people here who just want plays which is understandable cause it?s a betting forum but i?ve always been someone who tries to grow the game.. and during my time here at Mad Jack?s i?ve seen the soccer forum grow.. casual workers have come in the comments and others have started to post and chime in.. and I?m just very passionate about the sport that gave me so much and love coaching.. love hearing when some of yinz love hearing me babble on about my team or put up with me during my babbling..
Our girls work so hard, we?ve trained so hard and worked so hard the past 10 years building a program from a community (not a Catholic/private school that can pilfer players without building them up.. Anyone can steal someone?s players once they?re developed going into ninth grade? in pa we have to compete as many of you know with this so intake big pride in being a smaller school who has helped build the program through a community and not rely on just transfers and streaming other communities players.. this year, i?m always and I always will be realistic but I truly think we?re going to be in Hershey ( where state title games are played) and playing bigger schools like today and tomorrow will help immensely.. hopefully I don?t annoy too many people with my long winded annoying posts about my team..
When possible I?ll post links to games (free, I won?t post links that need subscriptions).. hopefully we as I think we can make state finals and we?ll be on cable tv(in pa state finals are on pcn) but anyhow I?m sure I?ll post more annoying things as the season goes on.. the 8th is our first installment with north Catholic who is in conference who we had three battles with last year.. they lost in state finals 1-0 and we were better than them and all three games just couldn?t score.. and there?s a possibility will play them four times this year twice in our conference once in district playoffs and once in state playoffs..

I love the updates as I am a big fan of high school sports having been around it my whole life (my father coached high school sports for over 40 years and is in the MD Hall of Fame). Of course he was a football coach, so my passion for futbol came later in life. He was also a very successful girls basketball coach winning multiple state championships so that got me exposed to women sports. Very interested to see how these North Catholic games go given the rivalry from last year. I really hope you stick it to them and I look forward to the updates!

We lost. 1-0 Saturday and 1-0 Sunday in double OT. Sunday we finished without 5 starters.. I?ll know more tomorrow at training after talking to AT but doesn?t seem to be anything more than cautionary..knock on wood.. Wednesday is first conference game and of course the biggest one we we have a tough stretch to start the year.. it?s at their place on grass so we?ll get ready fir that tomorrow and see who we have. We have some options depending on health.. once we?re healthy we?ll be dangerous
Off topic -Flying down to Knoxville Friday for the pitt tennesse game. Looking forward to my first time there

Only 2 1-0 losses but not totally unexpected against the size of schools we played..
I?m gonna look into qualifiers now, no guarantee I?ll have any plays today..
