our inquiry has been passed onto the directors. i will post the outcome as soon as i hear back from them.

i would have deposited the check and waited for it to clear as i'm sure the check was good but that's not the issue now.

let's see how it's handled by the directors.

Thanks Jack,
I did deposit the check, and my bank, they debited my acct., and sent it back to me. When I called Sportsbook, they informed me that they have had this problem with numerous customers, and they stopped payment on the entire batch of checks.
So, the check that was returned to me, wasn't good .

okay, here's the deal.

sportsbook.com has put the money back into your account. you may play with it or request another withdrawal using a different method.

it's the processor's fault, not sportsbook.com and I believe that.

some people were able to cash the checks from the other processor and a lot weren't. when they got word that people were having problems, they switched processors immediately. call and ask for the best withdrawal methods.

thanks,

Jack

Sorry but I am very ignorant to all of this.

The payment processors have nothing to do with the books themselves, is that what you're saying.

If so, why is is that way and could you explain how it works as a lot of books seem to hide behind that excuse.

Thanks!

okay, will try to explain.

processing the money transactions in and out.

the good old days, the books did it themselves. bank wires, checks from the sportsbooks accounts, credit cards, western union, etc.

US laws put a stop to that.

then we had paypal, neteller, etc (all 3rd party processors but reliable ones that handled things the right way). US laws nipped that in the bud.

now they search for processors that may not be as reliable or trustworthy but they have no choice and we're talking about MILLIONS of dollars.

they have to rely on 3rd party, not IN HOUSE sources, to take their money and send it to you and take your money and send it to them.

it's completely out of their hands and the books have no control.

if you send me a bankwire and i call you in 10 days asking where the fuk is my money what are you going to say to me? i went to the bank and filled out the papers and sent it. i guess i'll call the bank and see wtf is wrong. not my fault, bro.

same deal with the books.

hope this helps.

I sent you the info Jack.

I tried to cash my Beriut check. My bank said the funds are not stated in US dollars so it is converted to the Lebanon currency and I would get pennies on the dollar if and when funds were collected. :mj07:

How can they be a preffered book? I know people that have been waiting 4 months for a payout.

Not to mention I have money tied up in one of there sister books and I'm waiting since 1st week of june for a payout.

I would steer clear of all Jazette Enterprises Limited (JEL) sportsbooks as they have the same SLOWPAY issues from what I've seen.

I HAVING BEEN TRYING FOR A PAYOUT FOR TWO YEARS SO I WENT TO BODOG

I have e-mailed Jack and hopefully I will get lucky and see some of the funds. I was one of the ones to receive a Lebanon check.
