This should be one hell of a final. Not like last years overmatching of the 2 squads. I actually think they Pens are far better than they were a year ago and Det looks vulnerable at times!

14-8 +8397 for the 1st Round......
7-4 +5950 for the 2nd Round......
7-2 +6000 for the Conf Finals......
28-14 +20347 overall in the playoffs :00hour

Heavy series bet coming on the Pens! Gl everyone!

First 3 games will be in 4 nights. Doesn't give Datysuk or Lidstrom enough time to recover. This sounds setup for the Pens

Red Wings already bitching that they didn't know the series was to start Saturday and that it is b/s to have back to back and 3 out of 4 nights!

Well, I do agree about back to back! That is such b/s but you are the superior, right Detroit!

We shall see! Love this shit. GO PENS!!

I absolutely love the Wings. Gonna wait until closer to the drop of the puck in Game 1 to let all of this Pens' money roll in and drop the series price.

The Pens can't match Detroit's total team depth and the D the Wings have played in the postseason is night and day from how they played during the regular season.

Crosby and Malkin have grown another year and I'm certain they have learned plenty from last season's loss. But let's remember they are still only 22 and 21 respectively. I like Fleury as well, but the Pens D can't hold a candle to the Red Wings top 4.

I'll gladly take the team that has won 4 cups in 11 years at below -150 to defeat a young team.

For a team with 3 of the league's top 10 players (Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Lidstrom) and now added a top 15 player in Hossa, this is substantial value in my humble opinion.

Throw in Franzen, Rafalski, Kronwall, Stuart, Filppula, Cleary, etc......you get the idea.

Just because Pittsburgh is a year older, doesn't mean they are better. Most people would tell you the top teams in the West are better overall than the top teams in the East.

Pittsburgh is the best of an average bunch if you ask me. Not saying they won't compete here, but in the end, they are not as complete of a team as Detroit.

Two ways they win this series. Marc-Andre Fleury substantially outplays Chris Osgood and/or Evgeni Malkin/Sidney Crosby outplay Pavel Datsyuk/Henrik Zetterberg. Not impossible, but I don't like the chances of that happening.

Detroit with all the depth that is explained above better be ready to use it, these 1st few games may decide this series and off of a few days rest as well as banged up they better be very sharp out the gate, the Hawks are nothing like the Pens Osgood will see plenty of shots this round as opposed to last round when he had off for almost 3 games. Should be fun WILL be exciting and right now eberyones bet is still a threat to cash...let's see how it plays out! I think the Pens jump out with a 1-0 lead tonight, Detroit may sleep walk thru this one since they "didn't know" the series started today.

If Osgood continues to play as he did in Game 1 and has played the entire post-season, the Wings won't lose.

Yes Detroit got some bounces to get the win, but at the end of the day, Crosby and Malkin were neutralized by Detroit's fantastic defensive play. When there are breakdowns, Osgood has been there to save the day during this playoff run.

Pittsburgh can be optimistic because they outplayed Detroit for significant stretches of Game 1. That being said, what happens to Pittsburgh if/when Detroit puts a complete game together???
